  1. Understand now SEHA centers is only on appointment basis, are they still accepting walk in?
  2. Thanks Doc for the wishes...🙂 Wish you a very happy and prosperous new year, have a blast.
  3. Getting a bit messy....checking with airlines if it's 48hr for test to be done or 72hrs (website says 72hrs and one of the online document says 48hrs, believe it's dynamic these days )....with it being eve and weekend ahead won't take risk if 48hrs... Till I get confirmation from flight will put my plans to join drive on hold....
  4. Any idea how much time does it take for pcr result, have to travel in any case 1st eve...so for that need 48hrs result...so thinking of combining it by doing the test on 30th eve...
  5. Hi @M.Seidam if slot available can I join in Tomo? Sorry just realized it's tomo...mixed up days can't join tomo

Any need for Jerry cans etc? .and location of gas station on way to meeting point while coming from Dubai. d. Safe to camp around starting point? Have a bad track record when it come to planning camping before/after drive, however just in case this time try to make it work (night before). Request advice.
  7. Thanks @Frederic for the beautiful drive... Very unique and offered very diff kind of challanges and adventure through the route .. We drove through the beautiful yellow dunes of Sharjah, open long sabkas, a bit through tarmac and ofcourse the most interesting part was wadi drive (though basic was something have been looking forward for). Just like any adventure, it started with a plan and evolved with every passing moment. While an easier than usual track, lower deflation than usual (to ensure things work well through the course) provided the perfect learning conditions for convoy. We drove for 8 hrs 17min covering around 100Km through this varied terrain with a av moving speed of around 19km/hr @Stav you were a perfect SL and thanks for all your support during stucks and refusals. @Quresh Motiwala other than being crested (multiple times 🙂) on that tiny dune you handled your Pajero well. Stucks and refusals are integral part of offroading, always take them with a smile. @Markus B your TJ showed us the importance of right deflation while off-roading, once the tire pressure were down to right level, it was a super smooth drive . Thanks for letting me try it. It's diff...😂 @Omar ElGamal you had your fair share of refusals however was good to see you self recover through most of them with minimal aid. Transitions from dune to tarmac to rocky bed surely has tendency to make one nervous - with change in sounds and overall vehicle behavior. In the end i hope you enjoyed the experience and got to know a bit more about your beautiful Pajero @Azeem M you have a good control on your vehicle just don't be gas shy and you are good to go. @Joseph Raju you are only getting better with every drive. It's our second drive together and as was the case with first one you handle your Super Safari nicely. @Rob Soughton apart from couple of small refusals and one crest on that tricky dune you had a nice day at work. @Pierre de Maigret and @Muhammad Qasim both FJs had perfect drives. @Tom V Xterra showed that pulling out the power plug works for all kinds of electronics. @KKIRAN @Senthil Kumar very nicely driven, never easy to be at the end of a long convoy. @Mikhail Lukichev thanks for keeping the convoy together. Overall a fun drive to start the vacation period. Enjoy and happy holidays.
  8. I enjoy writing Drive reports or for that matter recount of any unique experience i go through - reliving the beautiful journey, reimagining some good some/scary moments through that adventure and just trying to freeze those moments in form of words. However yesterday's drive to Liwa been something unique. I don't think i am as a good a writer to be able to express what a wonderful experience it was. So i'll just say -- it was Liwa, there was @Gaurav , there was a convoy full of energy and skill full drivers and only chatter on radio was about how magneficient the setting is. Thanks @Gaurav for planning this retake drive, i am sure wasn't that easy after all we witnessed in last drive. Thanks all for making it an awesome experience. @Chinthaka Ruwan @Ranjan Das @Ashok chaturvedi @Lawrence_Chehimi @Rawad @marks @Ilya
  9. Okie...that makes lots of sense.. thanks dear. Though like the Rubicon bumper much better than Sahara's not ready convinced to change the base look yet, so good to know option is there
  10. Hmm.... I thought plastic one in any case is too fragile, not sure it will support the load and stress with Winch ...might just end up being a short term jugaad.
  11. Hi @Gaurav just to check, camping plan is On? Haven't reached the level to be camping alone in middle of nowhere in liwa 😂 ..so thought will check before I start packing for that .. Rest of the group, anyone planning to stay over or all driving back?
