  1. Erick I was in such a similar situation like urs. I did not know about the O2 sensors, i thought my battery was blown out and spent a lot of time and money back and forth from the dealership. What frustrated me the most is that even the professionals could not get a hold of the problem first and no error codes indicated as such. Take my word, if u cant figure out the problem, then look at the sensors.

  2. O2 sensors have been installed in cars since 1981. this sensor is part of the emissions system and sends info to the engine management computer of your car. It helps in the following aspects:

    - Efficient running of the engine

    - Operates the perfect ratio of air and gasoline into the engine

    - Detect lean and rich mixtures of air and gasoline to adjust the fuel entering the engine

    - generates voltage to direct the computer for the perfect ratio of air and gasoline

  3. So basically your driving does not seem to be smooth anymore correct? if thats the case then it is probably a problem with the suspension. When a car jostles ... its specifically used to describe a problem with the rear struts. Have any idea about them?

  4. Sounds like the blend door is not working. Put your head under the passenger side dash and move the heater control. See if you can see the servo motor moving. Hope you know what I am talking about. or just repeat these lines at the dealership.

  5. Umm... I had a similar problem once although the noise only came when the engine was cold. It turned out that the lines running from the engine through the firewall were rubbing up against each other creating the noise. They insulated those lines and the issue was gone. Discuss that with the technician and don't forget the advice I gave earlier.

  6. Hi Adnan,

My car did the same earlier this year and I reconnected the speaker. You can disconnect and reconnect it by taking out the adapter behind the door panel. This might need some technical knowledge so if you have a friend who is comfortable doing this ask him/her. After i did this, the noise went away, so it will either go away for you too or might re-surface after which you can get it checked.

    safe.
