Very good thread and thinking point Sidhan, car manufacturer should have that "ENGINE KILL SWITCH" to save thousands.

You can go to MercedesRus in Rashidiya and stay away from VIP German garage in close by vicinity. With MercedesRus you better agree everything in advance on paper as they have bad habit of trying their luck to milk extra bucks than agreed amount in the end, but they are experienced and professional for Merc's.

One of the most common reasons why the check engine light comes up is the O2 sensor, but never heard that about the light coming on intermediately. Better get the O2 sensor checked.

i have a 2003 model and the car works like a beauty till date regardless of being an old model. It has a 6 cylinder engine, 3.0litre produces 220 hp at 5800 rpm... auto four speed transmission. Needless to say that i am very happy with my SUV and plan to upgrade to a newer model of the same type. Regaardless of whatever kind of driver you are (slow, fast, amateur, rash) you'll find this SUV worthwhile.

I own a Lexus RX300 and the speakers all of a sudden don't work properly. You can hear the music, radio, etc but there is a strange broken noise along with it too as if one of the wires are damaged in the speakers. The problem just started yesterday ... should I wait it out before taking it in or should i have them checked immediately?
