  1. Yes, the main difference is in the amount of octanes, Premium has more octanes which make this fuel more powerful and you can also save some money in the long run because this gas is spent less.
  2. You should do a visual check at a professional repair shop after 5.000 miles. After about 15.000 - 20.000 miles change all the filters and of course perform another visual check.
  3. They also protect the contact points from dirt and in the case of UAE - from sand! They can suffer from corrosion over time and these parts keep the battery in a good state.
  4. I have experienced this on an open road and it wasn't pleasant I can tell you that. The transmission simply goes in the middle and you can't speed up. It's really bad if you are trying to skip some vehicle.
  5. Very nice explanation nawaash. I wonder if keeping your car in ACC position for alonger period of time drains the battery? I use it when I want to listen to the radio.
  6. Bridgestone is an excellent brand. You can also use Dunlop and Continental. I am very satisfied with Continental (All SeasonS tires). They shoud, be good enough for the streets in Dubai and driving out of the city.
  7. That's some good info there harishah! I am familiar with the last point, back in the days when I was younger I used to drive like that and my tires were worn after a year
  8. Breaking pads after 20,000 kms, all filters after one year or after 10,000-15,000 kms etc. It really depends on the vehicle you own, but the numbers are more or less around these figures.

  13. The belt is really important car part and needs to be replaced by real professionals. You can use any Dubai car repair shop to perform this taksa nd it won't cost you much dirhams.
  14. Thanks for sharing this useful information anoop. Many people forget about this system and they must face some severe consequences because of that. Some of the damage that can occur in this part of the vehicle cannot be repaired.
  15. A muffler is a device used as a silencer for a vehicle exhaust. I know that there are people who actually want to increase this sound, but some people want to eliminate this sound:)
  16. I believe that the driving skills play crucial role in this. I used to drive really fast in the past and I've used 35% more fuel than I use now. There is no need for fas driving especially not in urban areas.
  17. Good tips maddy! I would also suggest to be extra cautious during sand storms and you should also drive a little bit slower than usual during night.
  18. Because almost all of their models look beautiful and elegant and what is even more important I know that they have top notch car parts under the hood.
  19. "Switch turning, engine cranking but does not start" This is something I have experienced and after a while you want hear the engine cranking at all. This is the time when you need to fix the ignition
  20. I've never heard about that. There are some other parts where brands matter, but I don't think that there is so much competition for this particular car part.
  21. Why are Land Rover Defenders so expensive? I have just found one for 365.000 dirhams! Isn't that too much?
  22. Luckily I was not part of any scam. I believe that this is not something that happens quite often in UAE because people respect the law. Probably the easiest way to spot a scam is a price that's incredibly low.
  23. Maybe using the metro is a more convenient way, but I stick to my car. I can't live without it and I always travel with my car.
  24. * Longer engine life * Increased wear protection * Longer oil life * Good for different temperautres
