Thanks for the explanation wasimay. But, is it possible that the problem is located somewhere else and the engine just creates the noise? I mean if the problem is in the coolant or in some other car part it will also affect the work of the engine.

This must be some kind of mechanical problem. If you move your seat a lot (if you adjust it all the time) you can surely break some part from the mechanism.

Keep in mind that the battery life also depends on the time you spend behind the steering wheel. If you use it on a daily basis you'll probably have to replace sooner.

What many people who own cars with manual transmission forget is to change gears. You should always change gears and use the right one in order to reduce gas emissions and to protect your engine too.

The manual belt fan consumes lot of horsepower. So the fuel ecnomy goes down andyou can hear the fan noise in the manual belt fan. On the other hand, the electric cooling fan is more powerful and helps in imporving the horse power and fuel economy. You dont generally hear fan noise in the electric cooling fan.
Thanks for your detailed answer. Do you know if all modern cars use electric cooling fans instead of belt driven fans? Is there any other option?

I agree with the first person who replied. It is not very difficult to change this soft top completely but you will definitely need help from an expert.
