  1. Well if the car doesn't stall then I would tend to agree with farhaad. Sounds like an injector-related issue. You can also check the integrity of all relevant electrical plug connectors attached to the fuel/ temperature sensors in the engine bay. The pins and sockets loosen up with time and can give an abnormal voltage signal to the ECU. You can use synthetic contact grease if you find any suspect connections.

  2. What you are describing is consistent with a bad alternator. You should have to Al Naboodah and asked them to test the alternator after the second time you broke down. The guy who looked at your car the second time around simply took advantage of you and changed the battery hoping that you would go back to him with the same problem.

    It is normal for an alternator to fail internally. Agree with both jasim and saif.
