Actually it depends. If you have done complete brake job before, you an comoress the piston using C- clamp. But if its your first DIY task, i wont prefer you to perform this as you may not be aware of the funtioning of the brake pads and discs.

My name is Adarsh. I want to guy a Beetle for my wife as she loves that car. Since, she is the new driver in Dubai because she got her licence a month back so i am not sure to buy her a second hand car or a new one. I need some opinions about the same.

The worst problem I faced in my car was the fuel pump issue. The life of the fuel pump of my car almost died, and without caring about it, I use to travel on highway. And because of the fuel pump issue, my car use to stop in the middle of the road and it was really difficult for me to ignite it again. My faced lot of problems because of that. And I suppose it happened because I did not give my car for servicing for more than 7 months. When I got stuck at the highway, somehow I managed to drive back to the city and first thing I did was to give my car for servicing. And I learned that its really important to maintain your car otherwise your car can even ditch you at the highway.

the front axle is bent from the front which i dont know how it happened. it has not effected my driving at all.
