i have the same problem it gets jumpy and wobbley between 80-120 after that it goes steady like a bullet ,my front axle is damaged causing that .you can get a replacement in a scrap yard for maybe 500-700 dhs .

i second #ben i installed a Sony panel it runs great has USB port and AUX port ,excellent EQ presets id recommend using Gravity preset.

easy to use , supports 4 speakers and woofers .and it uses one panel only so you still have a storage under it or above it depending.

also you might want to check the electrical wiring of the fans which are in that model right below the battery cover .

my AC compressor died because the fans wouldn't go into highspeed when needed ,turns out the soldering of the wire connector was broken so you might want to check that .

also it is normal that if you turn off your car the front fans would run for a minute or so after completely switching off the engine my car does that and i've seen other cars that do that (BMW,Chevi)

yes i'd recommend sharjah as well thats where i found one for my polo and if you're in abu dhabi there are 2 shops in musaffah that deal with only VW second hand parts.

i have a 02/03 polo 1.4 (16v) ,and its AC is the crappiest thing on the planet , when i bought it back in production date it was great so cold and powerful ,many times i tried recharding the AC but thats not the issue .

first of all it takes a lot of time to start pushing out cold air after starting the car , i need to drive for a while before it actually does that.

whenever i stop at a signal for over 5 minutes the AC cools down and doesn't give cold air any more .

at time a weird smell comes out of the AC vents , i was told its a gas leak but i had a technician remove the dashboard completely and check the evaporator for leaks but there was none .

what do any of you suggest i should do , summer is close and it has to be top notch before that.
