  1. @Mohamed Seidam, @Abdul Rahman Abdul Kader and @N@ved so proud to see you all share and learn from others mistakes. Such good lessons and such a good way of thinking. Well done boys.
  2. Great research and definitely agree with the tire change, but why do you need the lift kit without even taking it for its maiden voyage. Bash plate is again a good idea and should be number 1 or number 2 in your list. Why do you want to spend so much on beadlock rims? How many pop-outs did you have so far on your LC100? Do you know what is the perfect tire pressure for you in the sand? Do you know why you got the pop-out? Have you tried changing your drive style? I have been driving 12 years in the desert and had a pop-out only twice and never got beadlock rims. I suggest start from a couple of newbie drives to get a hand of your new ride and decide on what you need rather than going at your ride before even taking it to the sand.
  3. @GD27 this is an Absolute Newbie drive which is perfect for you. Kindly go the the Calendar event and click on going. No need to bring a radio or flag for your first drive. We will share our spare radio for your first drive. The Y62 is an amazing ride, you'll love it even more in the desert.
  4. Congratulations @marks. Well deserved, always willing to help and carry the convoy along. Great to see your promotion.
  5. Congratulations @Nabil Bishara. Looking forward to hearing more from your side.
  6. Congratulations @Tamas Hoffmann. Looking forward to driving with you soon.
  7. Congratulations @imranaasghar81. Looking forward to more 360 degree videos from you.
  8. @Junaid120120 better you withdraw your waitlist from here as you're already confirmed on my drive.
  9. Thanks @Junaid120120 you are now added to this drive. Hope to catch you on Friday.
  10. Hi @Junaid120120, please advise if this will be your only drive or will be your second drive for this week?
  11. RAM mounts are my favourite. I tried everything under the sun as the car mounts available for my brick 276C were dame expensive. I had to use desert cart to get a Ram Mount from the US, 4 years and no issues, my brick is secure.
  12. Thank you for sharing @Abdul Rahman Abdul Kader. Really helpful.
  13. Congratulations @Pancho. It was an absolute pleasure to support your drive last Friday. It was lovely experience to find a new path in a terrain I have been through so many times.
  14. Congratulations @Vanessa8580 for becoming the first Lady Marshal in Carnity and realizing my dream for a long time. Behind every successful man is a woman. I am so happy for @Frederic to have found you, not only you complete him at home, but also in a sport and hobby that you both feel so passionate about. Your positive energy you bring to every drive, your enthusiasm to help all and be the first one to assist anybody in need even though you have a bad back is absolutely fantastic. We all love you and routing for you every step of the way.
  15. I also got mine from a friend who had it from day one of the showroom floor. But mine is 20 years old now and needs some work. But not bad for a 20 year old car to run like a dream. The only older models are @Gaurav bhai and @Frederic Pajeros and @Srikumar XJ.
  16. @Paul Zeitoun I was just going through the list of people who were able to join my drive. I love the mix of ksome known people i haven't driven with in some time and some new faces which is just amazing. Looking forward to seeing you all on Friday.
  17. @Jasim Khumi my Pathy has already done 265k and nothing major. My model has started to have some gear issue, but still drivable. I had to change the complete AC assembly which costed me 2k about 3 years back. AC is still running good. Steering pump is an issue, makes steering hard when stand still and sounds like something grinding inside. Using it off-road I lost my front lower and upper arm, plus had to change the springs and suspension when I bought it 5 years back. Stereo was horrible, changed it with speakers from Alpine. Seats started sagging up. Plugs if not changed on time become a pain to change. But this is my 3.3 liter issues. Not sure if these were still an issue with the 3.5 liter version. The plastic MAF sensor is not so expensive, but a real annoyance.
  18. My Pathy is 2001 model which is a 3.3 liter engine. The 3.5 is really amazing and reliable vehicle, but 2002 - 2004 model came with the plastic MAF sensor which breaks every now and then. However this was resolved from 2005 where they have a metal piece in the MAF sensor which takes care of that.
  19. Congratulations @Denizzalbayrak. Long time no see, let's catch up on one of the drives soon. Missing your smile.
