    Just another query while we are discussing batteries. Is there a negative impact or car electronics in case one installs a cheaper brand? Also , should one remove the battery lead when one goes on a month long holiday?

    Actually selecting the channel is not a problem by to program the channels it takes a lot of time since I will need to remember the steps. I don,t think it will be an issue as I have programmed most landline ones but just in case you ahev some specific range let me know LOL about "QuackQuack".

    Hi Gaurav, I have programmed the PMR446 channels on my Crony 888 will that be sufficient or do I need any other frequency?

    Gaurav I am a bit hesitant to drive in pitch dark condition specially as I dont have additional lights on my 4x4 and am a fewbie . Do you advise me to join in ?

    Hi, I have no idea about hiring a vehicle for the desert but was conveyed by some people that the off-road insurance does not cover accidents if you are more than a few meters from the road. It seems this is in the fine print . Kindly confirm.
