After spending a lot of time and money to an old car and getting no better is made my mind to get a newest possible car and be relax. For Jeep i am having it now total 8.5 month. Probably more than 2 month it was in maintenance. I spent more than i paid to car. But i learned a lot; - Get the car fully original, check every possible wire and pipe they all must be original, no mechanic tricks. - If you want an old car you need to now a mechanic who understand that car very well. If your mechanic making experiment not proper diagnosis you are spending a lot more than it should be. - Dont use any part duplicate. Cheap mean expensive. - Best you can do stay away from any old Jeep get a Nissan Xterra. When we come back to our new cars seems like there is no option. Nissan Altima: Very bad CVT reputation. Toyota Camry: Expensive and crappiest look and material quality. Honda Accord: Expensive car, expensive parts. Mazda 6: Not reliable Seems like i will get a Ford Focus with max 30.000km on it and 2 years old. I will have extended warranty and service contract. In any problem i will throw it to Al Tayer. Before warranty finish i will sell it.

Even if it is the best car of the world i am not going to buy a car older than 2013.

If there is any Lexus newer than 2012 less than 100.000km with full agency service history and max 45000 aed budget i wont even think twice.

Because basically same car with different shape. Engine might be smaller and the user expectation might be too different but logic is same.

I talked with @skumar83 on the phone also. He is saying he has some Nissan`s he is not happy with them. Probably i will go with accord or Mazda 6.

I want something newer than 2013. I want it to be economical on gas and usable for my wife. After 1 month i am getting married. it will be very hard to go desert after that so i am just passing weekend warriors.

After getting really tired of try to fix Cherokee. I dont even want to see it anymore. I found 2013 Altima SV with 63000km on it. Full service history available. Nice looking car(since i hate how Camry looking). I would like to know how reliable are those Altimas. I am making 30.000km a year and i want to have it for long time. I was planing to get Lancer EX but this one is more comfortable.

I know this is very logical. What i dont understand is why when i remove the coil pack and put it back again everything became good. What is the connection between gauge and coil pack?

As you said it is actually about mechanics. Since mechanics here in UAE not able to fix European cars we are seeing those japan craps still running. If we go to Europe or Turkey we will see old European cars still running strong and they are everywhere more than any Japan car. This is something named oiled wrestling. It is kind of tradition. They are covering them selves with olive oil and start wrestling.

I went Mohsin to check it. They connect it to computer and fuel injector connection was the problem. They fixed the injectors properly and put some silicon to keep them tight. After that check engine light, shaking and power loss was gone. I was happy to solve it that easy but yesterday when i was off roading key ignition light, check engine light, no bus erorr came on speedometer and rev came 0. When i shut off the engine it didnt start again like before. I opened the hood remove the coil pack and put it back. After that car start again and all lights and warnings gone. I think i still need coil pack.

In Turkey these jimny very famous. It is gong everywhere a cherokee can go. But in sand i dont know. I really want to try myself. These cars in Turkey all stock engine.

I hope this time it will have something more powerful. I really want to buy one.

This morning i got check engine light on. No other light only check engine.

Hi Barry seems like problem was bad spark plugs and the part top of it. As we saw yesterday my engine mountings are cracked when i am hitting the dunes like Faya engine is moving and this part top of the sparks(Saleem will give the name of the part) is moving and creating problems. That is Saleem`s theory and it worked. But It can explain why car didnt start on the other hand yesterday i was driving my car on the road when this problem happened i didint feel any trouble from engine. We will see in time is it going to happen again or no.

I think i have problem with my immobilizer. Today when i am driving to the work, key light and check engine light came on. Also gauges stop working, no bus is typing instead of millage. I come to the office and lock the car. Now my car is starting but after 1 sec engine automatically shutting off.only key light is on. Is there anyone know what to do? Already tried removing the battery.

Seems like your car is ok. Only if you flush all your coolant and change it will be better.
