untilIt's time to call for an newbie - fewbie drive in our loved area Mahafiz - Fossil rock. Looking forward to an easy relaxing drive for everyone with plenty of opportunities to side slope, hill climb, and ridge riding. Newbie or fewbies will have great chance to see and learn the real fun that off-roading offers in a very safe and organized environment. This will be my first time to lead. There might be some mistakes but i am sure our great time will be there for me. When: 16 February 2017 Meeting time: 06:30 AM, convoy will move sharply at 06:45 AM Where: Cafeteria almuntather Level of drive: Newbie - Fewbie - All are welcome Type of Car: Any proper 4x4 with front and back tow hooks and 10 inches of ground clearance. Plan: Drive, train and enjoy till sunset What to bring along: Loads of snacks, plenty of water - whatever you like with little extra to share, water, liquids, smiles, stories, enthusiasm and willingness to learn. Fill your gas tank before you arrive. Approximate finish time: 12.00 PM

BMW i drive First it is very hard to use. You have to turn your head from road to buttons for changing anything. Also while you are trying to push a button from console your arm is touching it and it is changing the music.

Hi @skumar83 i have no idea about my head unit RMS. It is a chinese(i guess, it says toyota but i dont think so) double din. I dont have good knowledge about music systems. I just wanted to hear clear sound when i give it high volume. With the upgrades i did, it felt good enough for me(maybe it is not good for a professional). Later on i am planing to change my head unit. I hate the look of double din touch screen in a 2000 model car. I want to get something look more original for my car.

Hi Sri; Lately i made a sound system for my Cherokee. I used sony xplod 3 way speaker for front(https://uae.souq.com/ae-en/sony-xplod-13cm/s/?as=1). I didnt change the back ones(they are still working). For subwoofer and ampfi i found second hand pionner 760w ampfi and 1300w subwoofer. I bought them for 400AED(from dubizzle). I paid 250aed for cables and fixing in Ajman. If you want to listen how it sounds we can meet and you can try. I am really happy with my system.

It was amazing drive. Many crazy things happened First i locked my car while keys inside. With great team work we opened the car with flag pole Everyone reach the top of Iftar Bowl. Later on camel visited us while we are having a break. We fix the @skumar83`s car with some crazy engineering That was memorable day. Thanks for everyone, specially for good lead @Asif Hussain

I dont know price and brand. It was there when bought my car. But i can say passing is not a problem as long as you cover it.

Good adventure but these days i am not fully thrust my car for that kind of adventure. I need to change my fuel pump. -
You better not go alone to desert. If you have friends with you they will help you to get unstuck or they can tow you.

I would go with xterra. Diff lock is good to have but if you dont have its not a big problem. With that budget i think you can get 2011-2012 mid option.
