@Frederic I will try to remove the MAF sensor tonight. I have a OBD2 reader and i can take real time data from car. Anything i should check there at the data? Also currently i have no code. I find the transmission issue logical because I rebuilt the transmission 1 year ago and i dont think they did a great job. Lately car start shifting at 2500rpm even if i give full gas. When i am cruising 80km and i am start giving full gas it will not lower the gear it will try to accelerate at 4th gear. Just a note, while i am making the acceleration test i shifted manually. If i let the car shift it will shift the 4th gear at 80kmh and it will take 2 years to reach 100km. I remember 6 months ago when i give full gas car would take the gear to 2th and it will run like crazy till the redline. Also any shop advise to take this car. Many places are not interested to put their hands on old cars. I have a Jeep specialist at Sharjah, i went 2 years ago. He is only working for at 4.0 Jeeps but Sharjah is too far now. Also after many bad experiences over years with bad mechanics i fell like i want to buy a most newer and most low km Xterra possible and call it a day. I am really confused these days.

At Last Intermediate drive i felt something highly wrong with the car. I remember the time we went to Sweihan before Covid, car was climbing everywhere super easy. At the last drive it was like max 100hp car not a 200hp. So after that i checked my fuel pressure, i am getting 49PSI which is normal. Than we clean the thortle body and it wasnt that dirty anyway. Than last i changed the air filter today. Spark plugs changed 6 month 15.000km ago. Spark plugs and air filter original Mopar product. Today after the new air filter i made a 0-100km acceleration test with GPS application. I got 23 seconds. Factory data is 10.5 seconds. What could cause this? My mechanic already things i am crazy and he gave up. He is saying most probably something wrong with the gearbox it is not transferring the power properly and he said what you excepting from 20 years old car it is running good enough for its age. I feel like i am giving up on the car and i will just sell it and get something max 6-7 years old and low km. Is there any last thing i should check before i totally give up?

If you going to have this car for 200.000km you will have a transmission issue. Solving transmission is costing around 7000AED. Anyway i would accept the cost and choose the Altima over a Corolla.

I saw that, they are saying the reason is pubs are not following the rules. I was one of the famous party hotel at last eid, I can confirm that hotel and also none of the customers was care about rules. Than today I read they took the alcohol license of that hotel. For restaurants still alcohol is allowed.

Finally movement restrictions are gone. Can we say we are finally having night drives

Actually it would be better. But these 2 options are available in amazon.ae for cold air intake i couldn't find anything available in UAE for my car. I need to order from US in that case and i have no experience of ordering parts from US.

I am looking for getting more fresh air to my engine for little bit better power. As @Rahimdad bhai told me it should be dry type not the oil type. Wow all I want to say is what a drive. @Javier M proved that he is a great leader and we already knew he is a great driver. Today I had @Denizzalbayrak as my passenger, I believe he had lots of fun and he find chance to taste the intermediate level. We start slowly driving around for getting warm, than Javier raised the pace. In the morning while it is still not that hot we drived with some speed and enjoyed flying over dunes. When the heat really start hitting sand getting softer and softer that time @Mels Wolfand I start noticing how underpowered our vehicles are. Some high dunes we needed to try second some times 3rd time to reach up. But generally it was a fluent high pace drive. After enjoying Bedayer we reached to the beloved Iftar Bowl. First Javier tryed and he made it to the top at the second attempt. Than Mels also made it at top at the second attempt. I tried 2 times but no luck I was loosing power on the half way. Than I decided to give a chance to my old trick. I put the transfercase to low gear and hit the gas pedal. Wolla it reached to the top. We literally finished the route 2 hours earlier than it was planned. Than Javier took us around for more fun. In that time Mels had a pop out but easily sorted with a short time and before that I noticed my right front tire had only 3.5psi inside and we took a break and I filled it back with a compressor. Than while we are exiting Javier had a small stuck but easily pulled out with a small tug. Than we all exited safely and head to the nearest gas pump. With this drive I noticed I might need a new fuel pump. Last few months I was feeling power loss and some power cuts while turning when the gas is low but in the drive I felt like I have no power car was acting like it has only 100hp. On the way also I felt some power cuts at high speed and it remained me the times when the fuel pump got bad on my old cherokee. Also when I reach home I saw my front tire has almost no air inside, looks like I also need a new set of tires and I found a good reason to buy a good hydrolic jack. Thanks to Javier, Mels and Deniz for this great drive. It was too much fun.

One of my friend warned me about the way i write this. Better if i explain what i meant. I said get rid of the car because of my past and current experience. I am loving old Jeeps and i am spending enormous amount of money to keep them on the road. I had 2000 Jeep Cherokee. It started with few issues, i fixed them, than month or week later another came, i fixed it. Than it became too much and mechanic told me it will came to the way after a point. I believed him, i wanted to believe because i really like the car. I ended up with a huge lost over the car worth. I literally spend more than car`s own worth. I sold it. Currently i am a proud owner of a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee again i spent more than car`s own worth and i know if i want to spend i will spend another 5000 easily for fixing small small issues. Why i am doing that. Because i was dreaming about these cars when i was younger and i am really attached to it. Any person having piece of mind will say i am stupid. I am also saying to all of my friends to do what i say, dont do what i do. Another samples. My mother have a X5 BMW. I am at least telling her once a week to sell it but she for that budget she cant get anything better and she is definitely not interested to buy a Japanese made car so she keeps it but it has a huge maintenance cost. My friend from the company had a BMW Z4 coupe. Very rare nice sports car. That was his dream car and he enjoyed it for a year or two with joy. Than car start giving problems. First we fixed, second we fixed than i told him to sell it. He choose to keep it, after that in a week car gave 3 different problem and 1 break on the road(car needed to be towed to the mechanic). At the end he sold it with a huge lost. So the reason i told you to get rid of the car is these experiences i had. I believe you made a mistake while you are buying this car, you probably didint inspect it properly, since it is fully agency maintained you bought it with thrust. If you specially love that car keep it like i do, i am sure there are good mechanics can fix it. But otherwise as others said it looks like around 15.000aed cost and no guarantee after you fix it other things may come one by one, than you may end up with a huge lost.

Wow what is the km of the car. It is really strange 5 year old car having all these issues. Sounds like you better get rid of it and get another car.

I am very glad to have intermediate drive this week at Nawza Shops area if we go to Iftar Bowl i want to try climbing capability of Grand Cherokee. So far i am feeling it is better than my old Auto Cherokee because of different gear. Lets see if it can make it till the top, my old cherokee wasnt.

I cant say anything against what you said, all true but it has a thing keeping you attached to it. Maybe because i was literally dreaming to having one when i was a high school child or i grew up with my grand father`s Jeep stories. Specially the 5.9 ZJ is my holly grail. I have more interested have one 5.9 more than a SRT Trailhawk.

Rahim Bhai i can talk for the X5, my mother drives 2012 X5 35i which i am driving time to time. I can say it is a blast to drive. Too much fun, even 35i is fast enough and you are talking about 48i it should be like a bullet. Beautiful cornering, drives like a sports car on the corners. BUT(i am writing this big and bold because it is a big and bold but) it is very unreliable. Endless issues, definitely car is not designed for this climate. oil leaking from every possible place, you will fix one next month you will find another leak from another location. Lately AC became not powerful as it used to be. Door handles(inside ones) getting sticky with time, only option is changing them(bit costly). Broken AC vent controllers. Electronic hand brake failed and need to be completely replaced. Car is currently at 150.000km. Last time when i wrote review about our Grand Cherokee Hemi i said i would buy again for X5 even though it is super fun to drive i wouldnt buy that again and i cant recommend to anyone unless you are a BMW enthusiast. For Range Rover i believe better if @Gaurav or @desertdude can give good advises, personally i never drove one but i read many horror stories. Why not a Grand Cherokee WK2 or Chevy Thaoe etc.
