  1. Fantastic !! Mine are somewhat similar. Taken with an old Lumix camera.
  2. The eye of Sauron, taken from 41kms away in Al Hayer: 24.43779, 55.71123
  3. https://www.relive.com/view/vLqe9Nwpmdq This was a great morning out ! We were able to keep a steady flow throughout the drive with only a minimal amount of refusals. Very well done by our Fewbies @Shary and @Sam Selim up in the front. The rest of the convoy was made up of very experienced off-roaders and that showed as well. The vegetation was there but I think all in all we dealt with it, and the narrow cordon of higher dunes with steep descents was a great part of the drive. The sand was very soft in some areas. I was driving at 9psi but some places felt like I was on 18psi 😅. Great support and help from @Aser and @Looper. See you guys soon in the sands again.
  4. Thanks @Aadi for the heads up. See you soon in the sands on another drive 👍

  6. That's a remnant of the old RSVP system. If we post an event without an RSVP limit, this option will appear.
  7. A bit inconvenient, but you can first open the Google Maps link, and copy the decimal coordinates (long click on them and copy to clipboard). Then open Waze and paste the decimal coordinates into the search field. But make sure to remove the brackets ()
  8. Hi @fj_cruiser It is not very clear to me what you are looking for. You want to listen to lectures and podcasts while driving without having to put it on high volume, correct ? In my opinion, the FJ cruiser having the aerodynamics of a cow, it will always be loud inside the cabin while driving, but there are are few options to reduce it: - Good quality highway tires. Michelin has some of the quietest tires. Heavy all terrain tires will be too noisy. - Cabin insulation. It is possible to insulate the cabin more with sound-deadening panels. This will surely help but is quite a bit of work. Some information can be found in below topics: if all above does not work, i suggest try using airpods or changing the car

  10. DRIVE DESCRIPTION In an attempt to find better off-roading pastures, we are heading to Al Hayer, an area often overlooked by off-roaders due to the vicinity to Sweihan. Expecting to find untouched dunes, but it is hard to tell if the vegetation will be an issue.
