  1. Location: https://goo.gl/maps/TbeCZyC554Mu7ULb6 I took this on a sunny winter afternoon on 26th of December. As usual i forgot to bring my DSLR but took this with my Iphone and pretty happy with the overall result.
  2. Like probably most of us i have started photography with the 35mm film. My first decent camera was the analogue Canon EOS300 that came with a standard kit lens and a 75-300mm Canon zoom lens. I got hooked immediately to how the camera was always able to give me good quality images, but i never found the time to get into all the manual settings and the digital age started to creep in. I sold that camera and went for a Lumix FZ8 which was a small but capable digital camera with a very impressive zoom. Unfortunately this camera never gave me that feeling the Canon did, and for many years i never paid too much attention too it as it was busy pursuing my career, being a DJ, and balancing with family life. I found myself taking lots of snaps with my Iphone (6,8) which was acceptable but again never dug into the possible settings. Last year on a business trip to Poland i was able to pick up a Canon EOS 5D Mark 2 with a Canon 50mm 1.8 prime lens, 24-105mm Canon lens, and a 70-300mm Sigma zoom lens and i got hooked immediately by getting the real DSLR feeling back and i started taking some snaps in the city in late evening. Since then i've started reading lots of tutorials, manuals, books, to be able to use the camera in a better way. Currently i mostly shoot in Aperture Priority mode and like black and white candid photography the most. I recently got the latest Iphone 12 Pro Max with the 26mm f/1.6 lens and i am amazed with the quality of the photos, especially landscape photography with the wide angle lens.I took an online course with IphonePhotographySchool which provides a lot of information on how to use the Iphone to take amazing photos and i hope to use this club to share more information and become a much better photographer ! I have a DJI Phantom Pro 3 as well, and registered as a private user. I am looking forward to using this drone more often and learn more about the settings.
  3. One day you must tell me what stuff you are smoking my friend....
  4. I totally agree with what the others here have mentioned above. The LWB Pajero is a very capable off-roader despite its inherent limits. If you rate an off-road vehicle purely on the capability of climbing Faya then the Pajero is not the right car. If you want a capable and reliable allround off-roader which is comfortable as well and suitable as family vehicle than the Pajero is the right fit. If you prefer to stick with Pajero then consider a SWB 3.8 Pajero like @Wrangeld is driving. You’ll have the best of both worlds.

  6. This seems to be an issue many Pajero owners complain about as I found many forum topics about it. Unfortunately it seems this is the way Mitsubishi has programmed it and cannot be changed.
  7. Hi @Salty3Arab and @ZakWarah welcome to Carnity and its offroad club. As we don't have any absolute newbie drive in upcoming weekend so we have reserved two spots in both newbie drives for first timer with Carnity. You both have been added to this drive and I look forward to seeing you both. Please check if both front and rear tow points are available on your vehicle so we can safely recover you when needed. As a first timer with Carnity, please go through this drive topic fully and also watch the Absolute Newbie Briefing. P.S. This is one time preference for absolute newbie as you have joined mid-week. P.S.2 Kindly join the Carnity Drive Notification group for getting the drive notification for future drives, please. Keep an eye on this drive topic the coming days where we will announce the convoy list on Thursday morning. See you both on Saturday !
  8. Never open a radiator cap of any engine when it is hot.... This could result in serious 2nd or even 3rd degree burns as the water is boiling hot !

  12. @ABSL ABSL this is an intermediate+ level drive. If you have not driven with us before, please book into the Absolute Newbie level drive first.
  13. When driving in sand, we always recommend to disable the traction control on every 4x4, and this goes for the Pajero as well. How to disable it can be found in below advice: Now when it comes to getting stuck, we found out that the traction control can actually help you in recovering yourself, because when it's engaged it will cut the power to the wheel that is spinning, and that is exactly what we want during self recovery. So if you have a kill switch, or you just pull the relay like described above, give it a try by putting it back and restarting your car whenever you get stuck and want to crawl yourself out. Give a little bit of gas and keep turning the wheel FULL left FULL right. We made a demo below: This trick will work on any 4th generation Pajero, but be aware that traction control will disable again when you engage your rear difflock. In the case of our demo car this was a 2008 3.8 Pajero without rear difflock (Qatar model). This will also work fine on any 3.5 Pajero. So the next time when you get stuck, try to enable your traction control and practice to see if you can get yourself out by using the blip-blip method (gentle throttle in bursts up to 1500rpm) and full left full right turns. You will see on the dashboard that the traction control will automatically cut the power to the wheels that are spinning.
  14. DRIVE REPORT It's so nice when a plan comes together.... We had a compact yet very capable convoy today, and the first part was a Pajero convoy, with @Rizwan Waheed @Syed Raza Hussain @Anvar Sadath Bekal showing us that a LWB Pajero can tackle anything and go very far in the right hands. Well done guys ! @Aravind Padmaraju was on his first Fewbie drive, and got immediately thrown into a decent paced drive, but apart from some minor refusals, you did amazing and i hope you enjoy your new deserved level ! Towards the back we had a Wrangler crew with @siddharth maheshwari @Arun Mathew @MUHAMMAD Kashif RAZZAQ easily digesting the challenges thrown at them. Amazing work guys ! @Atif was our trusty sweep, and handled the recoveries superbly. We covered almost 65kms and that says alot about your skillsets ! See you guys soon in the sand again ! Enjoy the festive holidays !! https://www.relive.cc/view/v7O9ypePBLO
  15. RSVP IS NOW CLOSED Please find your convoy numbers below. The plan is to cover a lot of ground by keeping a good pace throughout the drive. Exit point will be nearby Solar Park. Please make sure you have your offroad tools as per Fewbie level (shovel, flag, radio, deflation tools, compressor). See you guys tomorrow morning !
