    2015 Mazda CX-3

    ANNOUNCEMENT Recall campaign Statement: Recall campaign related to liftgate stay damper for a limited number of Mazda CX-5, Mazda CX-3, Mazda3 BL, Mazda6 GH and Mazda6 GJ In coordination with the UAE Ministry of Economy • Department of Consumer Protection, and in line with the directives of the Ministry of Economy, Galadari Automobile Co. Ltd. LLC announces a recall Campaign for a limited number of Mazda CX·5, Mazda CX·3, Mazda3 BL, Mazda6 GH and Mazda6 GJ models which will begin effective immediately. United Arab Emirates, Dubai, 14th Sept, 2017: Galadari Automobiles Co. Ltd. LLC, exclusive distributor of Mazda in the UAE, released the following statement: We regret to say, on gas filling type liftgate stay dampers, rustproof coating, which is applied to the caulking part at the end portion of external cylinder, may not be appropriate. It is possible that water containing road salt used in salt regions may penetrate into the resin end cover, allowing the end portion of external cylinder to be corroded. If the vehicle continues to be used with such stay damper, the corrosion may progress over time, allowing the thickness of cylinder wall to decrease. In the worst case, the external cylinder may break off due to internal gas pressure, causing injury to people around the vehicle. All repairs for related to this Recall campaign will be completed free of charge to the customer. A total of 1824 vehicles are affected in UAE manufactured between 2008 - 2015. No other vehicles are affected.     2017 Dodge Neon

    ANNOUNCEMENT Service campaign for a limited number of Dodge Neon vehicles manufactured in 2017. In coordination with the UAE Ministry of Economy - Competition Consumer Protection Department, and in line with the directives of the Ministry of Economy, FCA Middle East announces a service campaign for a limited number of Dodge Neon vehicles which will be effective immediately. United Arab Emirates, Dubai, 17-09-2017. Trading Enterprises, the authorized Distributor of Dodge in the UAE has released the following statement: "The vehicle configuration settings on the affected vehicles may have an incorrect proxy setting for the "Service" lamp which will display on the instrument cluster at the wrong km range to have the engine oil changed. The service reminder lamp should illuminate at 10,000 km and not at 15,000km. Delaying the engine oil change may cause premature engine wear." All repairs related to this service campaign will be completed free of charge to the customer. A total of 149 vehicles are affected in the UAE manufactured between January 2017 and July 2017. No other vehicles are affected. ANNOUNCEMENT Unintentional Typing Error in Materials on 3.8L 5-Door Pajero (2011MY-2016MY) We regret to inform you that we recently found unintentional typing error in the data for maximum engine output and engine speed at maximum torque that was provided in Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC), designed catalogue and Instruction Manual for the 3.8L 5-door Pajero (automatic and manual transmission models) for model years 2011-2016. We would also like to emphasize that the fuel economy of the vehicle remains unaffected to the same and the vehicle complies with GSO (GCC Standardization Organization) standards for safety in vehicles. DETAILS AND CAUSES: 1. Maximum engine output When developing the 2011 MY Pajero the exhaust pipe shape was changed to reduce exhaust noise. This change also caused maximum engine output to move from 184 kW to 176 kW for automatic transmission models, and from 175 kW to 170 kW for manual transmission models. However, these output differences were not reflected in the related catalogues and materials at that time. 2. Engine speed at maximum torque When preparing data for the materials an unintentional typing error was made on engine speed at maximum torque: 2,750 rpm was input instead of 3,750 rpm. 3. Maximum engine output and engine speed at maximum torque The values for maximum engine output/engine speed at maximum torque described in the Instructions Manual is that without pre-air cleaner. However, all GCC models are equipped with a pre-air cleaner. Therefore, the explanatory footnotes saying "Figures quoted...without pre-air cleaner" are not accurate for GCC model users. We sincerely apologize for not discovering this incorrect information until now. ANNOUNCEMENT Safety Recall Campaign Statement: Installation of Lighting Control Module bypass module kit for certain 2003 - 2005 Ford Crown Victoria and Mercury Grand Marquis vehicles In coordination with the Ministry of Economy - Consumer Protection Department and in line with the commitment of the Ministry of Economy to conduct an on-going review of all products in the UAE and provide the consumer with the required protection, Al Tayer Motors, the local importer - dealer of Ford vehicles in the UAE, and Premier Motors, the official dealer for Ford vehicles in Abu Dhabi, announce a safety recall campaign for certain 2003 - 2005 model year Ford Crown Victoria and Mercury Grand Marquis vehicles, manufactured in St. Thomas, Canada, to install the Lighting Control Module (LCM) bypass module kit. In the affected vehicles, the LCM may develop a crack on a solder joint, which connects a relay to the circuit board. This may result in the headlights not illuminating, increasing the risk of a crash at night. The headlights may have intermittent operation or flicker prior to loss of headlights. In the event of the loss of headlights, the flash-to-pass operation is still functional. In the UAE, 284 vehicles are estimated to be affected by this recall campaign. ANNOUNCEMENT Safety Recall Campaign Statement: Software update for certain 2017 Model Year (MY) Land Rover vehicles In coordination with the competition Consumer Protection Department in the Ministry of Economy and in line with its commitment to conduct an on-going review of all products in the UAE and provide the consumer with the required protection, Al Tayer Motors, the local importer - dealer of Land Rover vehicles in the UAE, and Premier Motors, the official dealer for Land Rover vehicles in Abu Dhabi, announce a safety recall campaign for certain 2017 MY Range Rover and Range Rover Sport vehicles, manufactured in the UK, for a software update. On the vehicles affected by this recall, the Thin Film Transistor (TFT) Instrument Cluster 0C) has been going blank intermittently. The instrument cluster will not display anything in this condition but will reset whilst driving. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with National Regulations or United Nations Economic Commission for Europe CECE) Regulation number 121-01 for a short period of ti me. Without the instrument cluster displaying important information such as the vehicle's speed, there would be an increased risk of an accident. In the UAE, 866 Range Rover vehicles in the VIN range SALGA2FV1 HA320324 to SALGA2EJ0HA366385 and 530 Range Rover Sport vehicles in the VIN range SALWA2EE7HA 124031 to SALWA2FK2HA691347 are estimated to be affected by this recall campaign. United Arab Emirates, Dubai, 05.12.17. Al Habtoor Motors Co. LLC, the official distributor of Mitsubishi vehicles in the UAE, have released the following statement: "We regret to inform that due to inadequate welding of the internal metal parts in the relay, the welding may come off from those abnormal welded areas. As the result, there is a possibility that the engine stalls during driving, impossible to restart, the engine warning light up, or get into the fail-safe mode and etc. therefore the parts has to be changed."     ANNOUNCEMENT Safety Recall Campaign Statement: Seat Track Pivot Link Bolt inspection and repair of certain 2016 Model Year(MY) F-150 and Explorer vehicles equipped with power seats In coordination with the Competition Consumer Protection Department in the Ministry of Economy and in line with its commitment to conduct an on-going review of all products in the UAE and provide the consumer with the required protection, Al Tayer Motors, the local importer - dealer of Ford vehicles in the UAE, and Premier Motors, the official dealer for Ford vehicles in Abu Dhabi, announce a safety recall campaign for certain 2016 MY F-150 and Explorer vehicles equipped with power seats, manufactured in the United States of America, for Seat Track Pivot Link Bolt inspection and repair. In some of the affected vehicles, the seat track pivot link bolt for the front power seat may loosen and/or fall out. A front seat cushion with a missing seat track pivot link bolt may experience increased movement in the event of a crash and may not properly restrain occupants, increasing the risk of injury. United Arab Emirates, Dubai, 11th December, 2017: Arabian Automobiles and Al-Masood Automobile distributor of Nissan in the UAE, released the following statement: Following communication with Nissan Middle East, we have started a Recall Campaign affecting 4'297 NAVARA vehicles from MY 2008-2015 in the UAE. There is a potential defect in the Airbag Inflators used in the Passenger Airbag. Nissan will replace the Passenger Airbag Inflator on affected vehicles with improved ones at no cost to the customers.     2015 - 2017 Transit

    ANNOUNCEMENT Safety Recall Campaign for certain 2015-2017 Transit Vehicles equipped with a Trailer Module In coordination with the Competition Consumer Protection Department in the Ministry of Economy and in line with its commitment to conduct an on-going review of all products in the UAE and provide the consumer with the required protection, Al Tayer Motors, the local importer - dealer of Ford vehicles in the UAE, and Premier Motors, the official dealer for Ford vehicles in Abu Dhabi, announce a safety recall campaign for certain 2015-2017 Transit vehicles equipped with a Trailer Module, manufactured in Kansas City, United States of America, to inspect the trailer module fuse and add a footwell drainage outlet. In some of the affected vehicles, it may be possible for water to pool and splash in the footwell area, where the Trailer Module (TRM) is packaged, which may cause wiring corrosion and damage to the TRM. This may result in rapid flashing of the turn signals, loss of instrument cluster display, heater and air conditioning controls, and multimedia (radio, screens, SYNC). Wiring corrosion from prolonged water intrusion could also result in an electrical short to ground, which could cause an uncommanded seatbelt pre-tensioner deployment a burning smell, and/or an increased risk of fire, including when the vehicle is parked and the ignition is off. In the UAE, 207 vehicles are estimated to be affected by this recall campaign.     2017 Ford F-150

    ANNOUNCEMENT Safety Recall Campaign for certain 2017 Ford F-150 vehicles with a 10R80 Transmission In coordination with the Competition Consumer Protection Department in the Ministry of Economy and in line with its commitment to conduct an on-going review of all products in the UAE and provide the consumer with the required protection, Al Tayer Motors, the local importer - dealer of Ford vehicles in the UAE, and Premier Motors, the official dealer for Ford vehicles in Abu Dhabi, announce a safety recall campaign for certain 2017 Ford F-150 vehicles with a 10R80 Transmission, manufactured in Dearborn, United States of America, to replace the transmission roll pin. In some of the affected vehicles, the roll pin attaching the transmission shift linkage to the transmission may come out If this happens, movement of the shift lever by the driver will not change the state of the transmission gear. The transmission will remain in the gear it was in when the pin came out regardless of the position of the shift lever. If the roll pin comes out a driver may experience a loose or low effort feel of the shift lever; the shifter indicator could display inaccurate gear position in vehicles with floor shifters; if the transmission is not in Park when exiting the vehicle, the ignition key can be removed, but a warning chime will sound, a message will indicate 'Transmission Not in Park' and the driver would not be able to restart the vehicle; and if the vehicle cannot be shifted to Park and the parking brake is not applied, unintended vehicle movement may occur, increasing the risk of accident or injury. In the UAE, 56 vehicles are estimated to be affected by this recall campaign. In the subject vehicles there is a possibility of airbag inflator rupturing due to abnormal combustion of propellants when airbags deploy. In the subject vehicles there is a possibility of airbag inflator rupturing due to abnormal combustion of propellants when airbags deploy. All repairs related to this service campaign will be completed free of charge to the customer.   17. ANNOUNCEMENT Special Service Campaign Statement: Recall campaign for front wiper motor & front wiper link ball joint on Mitsubishi Outlander. In coordination with the Competition & Consumer Protection Department in the Ministry of Economy, Al Habtoor Motors announces a Special Service Campaign for a limited number of Mitsubishi Outlander with the below details which will be effective immediately. United Arab Emirates, Dubai, 14.01.18. Al Habtoor Motors Co. LLC, the official distributor of Mitsubishi vehicles in the UAE, have released the following statement: "We regret to inform that due to inappropriate waterproof structure of the front deck portion, water intrusion from front deck garnish and windshield may cause corrosion of the front wiper motor internal part. In the worst case, the wiper motor may become inoperable. Additionally, in the event that water drops down through the back side of the front deck garnish (the body piece between the hood and windshield), the front wiper link ball joint may experience excessive moisture and corrode. If this occurs, the resin case of the ball joint will wear prematurely due to the ball joint corrosion and the wiper link may ultimately separate causing the windshield wipers to stop operating." All repairs related to this service campaign will be completed free of charge to the customer. A total of 4,030 vehicles, CWOW are affected in Dubai/Northern Emirates/Abu Dhabi/AI Ain manufactured between 2008 and 2013. No other vehicles are affected. In case of resistor failure, the low pressure fuel pump functioning will be compromised due to open circuit in wiring harness with consequent loss of engine power and possible engine shut down, in the affected vehicles. In the UAE, 71 vehicles are estimated to be affected by this recall campaign.     ANNOUNCEMENT Safety Recall Campaign for certain 2012 Model Year Ferrari vehicles in the UAE In coordination with the Competition Consumer Protection Department in the Ministry of Economy and in line with its commitment to conduct an on-going review of all products in the UAE and provide the consumer with the required protection, Al Tayer Motors, the local importer - dealer of Ferrari vehicles in the UAE, and Premier Motors, the official dealer for Ferrari vehicles in Abu Dhabi, announce a safety recall campaign for certain 2012 model year Ferrari 458 Italia, 458 Spider, California, F12berlinetta and FFvehicles, manufactured in Italy, to replace the passenger side airbag module. Ferrari S.p_A. has launched this campaign due to a non-conformity in the manufacturing process of the passenger side airbag module, which is manufactured and supplied to Ferrari by Takata. Takata declared that the module may have been manufactured using propellant which may deteriorate over time. This may cause the airbag to fail to deploy correctly as required by applicable safety standards. In the event of a collision necessitating deployment of the airbag, this non-conformity may result in the failure of the inflation device and incorrect deployment of the passenger side airbag, increasing the risk of injury. A total of 228 vehicles are estimated to be affected in the UAE. In the affected vehicles, a frozen door latch, or a bent or kinked door latch actuation cable, may result in a door that will not open / will not close, or opens while driving, increasing the risk of injury. In the UAE, 2473 vehicles are estimated to be affected by this recall campaign. There is a possibility that insulation layers inside the sensors could peel over time, causing the airbag warning light to illuminate and potentially causing some of the airbags to become deactivated which could increase the risk of injury in the event of a crash. In the UAE 725 vehicles are estimated to be affected by this special service campaign. ANNOUNCEMENT Recall for GLE Coupe (292 platform) Model Year 2016 Bulkhead insulation In coordination with the Competition Consumer Protection Department in the Ministry of Economy, and in line with the keenness of the Ministry of Economy to conduct an ongoing review of all the products in the UAE and provide the customer with the required protection, Gargash Enterprises and Emirates Motor Company announce that a recall for GLE Coupe (292 platform) will begin from 31 January 2018. Daimler AG has determined that on certain GLE Coupe vehicles (292 platform) the bulkhead insulation might have been manufactured outside specifications and might show surplus foam that could overlap in the lower area of the windshield. The announcement has been aligned jointly with Gargash Enterprises and Emirates Motor Company and the Ministry of Economy - Department of Competition Consumer Protection to inform customers about the launch of an inspection of the affected vehicles which are imported in UAE. Any necessary rectification work will be free of charge for the customers. The propellant in certain Takata airbag inflators can experience an alteration over time with exposure to certain climate conditions such as high temperature fluctuations, and humidity, which contribute to its degradation. This degradation can cause the propellant to burn too quickly, creating high pressure inside the inflator, and in extreme cases causing the inflator to rupture in the event of a crash necessitating airbag deployment A ruptured inflator can send inflator parts toward vehicle occupants resulting in serious injury. In the UAE, eight vehicles are estimated to be affected by this recall campaign.     ANNOUNCEMENT Safety Recall Campaign Statement for certain 2018 Jaguar vehicles In coordination with the Competition Consumer Protection Department in the Ministry of Economy and in line with its commitment to conduct an on-going review of all products in the UAE and provide the consumer with the required protection, Al Tayer Motors, the local importer - dealer of Jaguar vehicles in the UAE, and Premier Motors, the official dealer for Jaguar vehicles in Abu Dhabi, announce a safety recall campaign for certain 2018 Model Year (MY) XE, XF, F-PACE and F-TYPE vehicles equipped with 2.0 litre petrol engines, manufactured in the United Kingdom, for fuel rail replacement. Jaguar Land Rover has identified a concern with certain MY 2018 Jaguar XE, XF, F-PACE and F-TYPE vehicles in which the brazing of the fuel rail end caps is inconsistent and may not be to design specification, thereby incorrectly sealing the fuel rail ends. Fuel vapour and liquid fuel leaks can occur over time due to which fuel can leak into the engine bay. Drivers may notice fuel odour and may observe liquid fuel if the bonnet is lifted. Should leaking fuel come into contact with a sufficiently hot surface, there is an increased risk of fire.
