ANNOUNCEMENT Safety Recall Campaign Statement for certain 2018 Land Rover vehicles In coordination with the Competition Consumer Protection Department in the Ministry of Economy and in line with its commitment to conduct an on-going review of all products in the UAE and provide the consumer with the required protection, Al Tayer Motors, the local importer - dealer of Land Rover vehicles in the UAE, and Premier Motors, the official dealer for Land Rover vehicles in Abu Dhabi, announce a safety recall campaign for certain 2018 Model Year (MY) Land Rover Discovery Sport Range Rover Evoque and Range Rover Velar vehicles equipped with 2.0 litre petrol engines, manufactured in the United Kingdom, for fuel rail replacement. Jaguar Land Rover has identified a concern with certain MY 2018 Land Rover Discovery Sport, Range Rover Evoque and Range Rover Velar vehicles in which the brazing of the fuel rail end caps is inconsistent and may not be to design specification, thereby incorrectly sealing the fuel rail ends. Fuel vapour and liquid fuel leaks can occur over time due to which fuel can leak into the engine bay. Drivers may notice fuel odour and may observe liquid fuel if the bonnet is lifted. Should leaking fuel come into contact with a sufficiently hot surface, there is an increased risk of fire. United Arab Emirates, Dubai, 19th February, 2017: Arabian Automobiles and Al-Masaood Automobiles, distributors of Infiniti in the UAE, released the following statement: Following communication with INFINITI Middle East, we have started a Recall Campaign affecting 185 Infiniti-Q50 and 84 Infiniti Q60 vehicles from MY 2017— 2018 in the UAE. When a malfunction is detected related to the OBD (On Board Diagnosis) systems of the Automatic transmission, the MIL (Malfunction Indicator Lamp) does not turn ON to alert the driver. INFINITI will reprogram the ECM (Engine Control Module) at no cost to the customers. ANNOUNCEMENT Recall for G-Class (463 platform) with V8 biturbo engine Model Year 2017 DelaminatIon vacuum hose for brake booster In coordination with the Competition Consumer Protection Department in the Ministry of Economy, and in line with the keenness of the Ministry of Economy to conduct an ongoing review of all the products in the UAE and provide the customer with the required protection, Gargash Enterprises and Emirates Motor Company announce that a recall for G-Class (463 platform) with V8 biturbo engine will begin from 19 February 2018. Daimler AG has determined that on certain G-Class vehicles (463 platform) with V8 biturbo engine, the vacuum hose for the brake booster might have been manufactured outside specifications. Thus, the interior wall of the four layer brake booster hose might delaminate. This might lead to a constrained vacuum supply of the brake booster. The announcement has been aligned jointly with Gargash Enterprises and Emirates Motor Company and the Ministry of Economy - Department of Competition Consumer Protection to inform customers about the launch of an inspection of the affected vehicles which are imported in UAE. Any necessary rectification work will be free of charge for the customers. Daimler AG has determined that on certain AMG GT R vehicles (190 platform) with track package the combination of performance seat and roll cage might not meet legal requirements in regards to ECE-R17 pendulum testing. The announcement has been aligned jointly with Gargash Enterprises and Emirates Motor Company and the Ministry of Economy - Department of Competition Consumer Protection to inform customers about the launch of an inspection of the affected vehicles which are imported in UAE.   6. ANNOUNCEMENT Recall Safety Campaign for passenger side frontal airbag inflator on Mitsubishi Pajero. In coordination with the Competition & Consumer Protection Department in the Ministry of Economy, Al Habtoor Motors announces a Recall Safety Campaign for a limited number of Mitsubishi Pajero vehicles with the below details which will be effective immediately. United Arab Emirates, Dubai, 19.03.18. Al Habtoor Motors Co. LLC, the official distributor of Mitsubishi vehicles in the UAE, have released the following statement: We regret to inform that due to usage condition, the changes of temperature and longtime humidity, the propellant (ammonium nitrate) in the inflator for passenger side frontal airbag maybe deteriorated, and as a result, the inflator body may rupture at the time of airbag deployment, therefore the frontal airbag inflator for passenger side has to be changed." All repairs related to this recall safety campaign will be completed free of charge to the customer. In some of the affected vehicles, the steering wheel attachment bolt may not maintain torque, allowing the steering wheel to loosen over time. If not corrected, the steering wheel may separate from the steering column shaft, increasing the risk of a crash while driving. In the UAE, 3358 vehicles are estimated to be affected by this recall campaign.     ANNOUNCEMENT Safety Recall Campaign for certain 2016 Model Year Ferrari vehicles in the UAE In coordination with the Competition Consumer Protection Department in the Ministry of Economy and in line with its commitment to conduct an on-going review of all products in the UAE and provide the consumer with the required protection, Al Tayer Motors, the local importer- dealer of Ferrari vehicles in the UAE, and Premier Motors, the official dealer for Ferrari vehicles in Abu Dhabi, announce a safety recall campaign for certain 2016 model year 488 GTB and 488 Spider vehicles, manufac tured in Italy, to update the Instrument Panel Node software (NQS). Ferrari S.p.A. has launched this campaign to update a software bug in the algorithm employed to calculate the wear percentage of the carbon-ceramic brake discs that may cause it to work incorrectly. The software update must be carried out to ensure the estimated wear level of the brake discs is correct and corresponding co the actual wear thereof. A discrepancy between estimated and actual wear may lead to the critical wear threshold of the brake discs being reached without the driver being informed, a consequent possible damage to the discs themselves, and an increased risk of accident. Currently, Ferrari is unaware of any accidents or complaints arising from chis defect. A total of 25 vehicles are estimated to be affected in the UAE.   11. ANNOUNCEMENT Safety recall for a limited number of 2011 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 HD & 2011 to 2015 GMC Sierra 3500 HD vehicles. In coordination with the Ministry of Economy - Department of Competition and Consumer Protection, and in line with the directives of the Ministry of Economy, to conduct an ongoing review of all products in the UAE to provide the consumer with the required protection, General Motors announces a Safety recall campaign for 2011 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 HD & 2011 to 2015 GMC Sierra 3500 HD vehicles from 15th April 2018. In these vehicles equipped with gas engines and dual fuel tanks, if the fuel-level sensor in the front tank becomes stuck in a low-level position, the rear tank may overfill the front tank and potentially cause it to expand. In rare circumstances, the front fuel tank could expand and contact a moving drive shaft, which could create a hole in the front fuel tank and allow fuel to leak. If leaked fuel encounters a potential ignition source, a fire could occur. General Motors have taken the decision jointly with the Ministry of Economy to launch a maintenance campaign to inspect the vehicles involved in the UAE and, if required, complete the necessary repairs to ensure customers' peace of mind. In the subject vehicles there is a possibility, the recliner mechanism of left (driver side) second row seat may malfunction and prevent seat-back from locking.     2018 Ford vehicles

    ANNOUNCEMENT Safety Recall Campaign for certain 2018 Model Year (MY) Ford vehicles In coordination with the Competition Consumer Protection Department in the Ministry of Economy and in line with its commitment to conduct an on-going review of all products in the UAE and provide the consumer with the required protection, Al layer Motors, the UAE importer - dealer of Ford vehicles, and Premier Motors, the official dealer for Ford vehicles in Abu Dhabi, announce a safety recall campaign for 2018 Ford Expedition vehicles, equipped with column shifter and 1 OR80 automatic transmission, and F-150 vehicles, equipped with a 1 OR80 Automatic Transmission, manufactured in the United States of America, to inspect the transmission selector lever cable. In some of the affected vehicles, the transmission selector lever cable adjuster lock clip may not be seated properly, which may allow the transmission to be in a state different than the shift lever position selected by the driver. This condition could allow the driver to move the shifter to Park and remove the ignition key, while the transmission gear may not be in Park. This could happen without an instrument panel warning message, or warning chime when the driver's door is opened, indicating the vehicle is not secured in Park. If the parking brake is not applied, these conditions could result in unintended vehicle movement, increasing the risk of accident or injury. In the UAE, 1,093 vehicles are estimated to be affected by this recall campaign. In coordination with the Competition & Consumer Protection Department in the Ministry of Economy, Al Habtoor Motors announces a Recall Campaign for a limited number of Mitsubishi ASX and Outlander vehicles with the below details which will be effective immediately. United Arab Emirates, Dubai, 17 .05.18. Al Habtoor Motors Co. LLC, the official distributor of Mitsubishi vehicles in the UAE, have released the following statement: "We regret to inform that (a) Due to improper sealing of parking brake shaft boots, water might enter and rust the shaft. As a result of continuous use, the rust will erode into the internal caliper and reduce the parking brake force. In the worst case scenario, parked vehicle will arbitrarily move. (b) Some rear brake calipers have shipped without passing the proper specification inspection. Auto adjustment of gap between brake disc and brake pad might not work properly. As a result, as the brake pad wears out, the caliper will not adjust the gap automatically and brake force will be insufficient to hold the vehicle. In the worst case scenario, parked vehicle will arbitrarily move. Therefore, we are trying to fix it for the safety of the users." All repairs related to this recall campaign will be completed free of charge to the customer. A total of 8,07.!i vehicles, Model Code (GF3W)/GFLiW/GA2W, are affected in Dubai/Northern Emirates/Abu Dhabi/Al Ain manufactured between January 2013 and December 2016. No other vehicles are affected. ANNOUNCEMENT Safety Recall Campaign for certain 2015 - 2017 Model Year Ford Ranger vehicles In coordination with the Competition Consumer Protection Department in the Ministry of Economy, and in line with its commitment to conduct an on-going review of all products in the UAE and provide the consumer with the required protection, Al Tayer Motors, the UAE importer - dealer of Ford vehicles, and Premier Motors, the official dealer for Ford vehicles in Abu Dhabi, announce a safety recall campaign for certain 2015 - 2017 Ford Ranger vehicles, manufactured in Argentina, Thailand, and the United States of America, for manual transmission shifter cable clip installation. In some of the affected vehicles, the gearshift cable retaining clip may not be fully engaged with the metal portion of the handbrake cable, which could lead to the gearshift cables contacting the rear driveshaft. Continued contact between the gearshift cables and driveshaft can damage them, resulting in difficulty changing gears or loss of drive. In the UAE, 178 vehicles are estimated to be affected by this recall campaign. United Arab Emirates, Dubai, 18.06.18. Al Habtoor Motors Co LLC, the official distributor of Mitsubishi vehicles in the UAE, have released the following statement: "We regret to inform that (a) Due to the improper design of the auto tensioner, the sliding resistance forces will increase after the degradation over time. This might cause cracks damage on the flange area of auto tensioner if the engine is used under high-load driving repetitively. In worse case, the flange will break and the drive -belt will fall off. This will cause the engine warning light to switch on, loss of power steering force assistance, battery discharging, and engine overheating. (b) Due to prolonged exposure to temperature and humidity, the adhesive strength of the outer frame of the sunroof glass assembly may become weak due to inappropriate resin material. As a result the sunroof glass may detach from the outer frame because of vibration and/or wind pressure during driving and could pose an accident or injury risk to the vehicle occupants and other road users." All repairs related to this recall campaign will be completed free of charge to the customer.   24. ANNOUNCEMENT Safety recall for a limited number of 2018 GMC Terrain vehicles. In coordination with the Ministry of Economy - Department of Competition and Consumer Protection, and in line with the directives of the Ministry of Economy, to conduct an ongoing review of all products in the UAE to provide the consumer with the required protection, General Motors announces a Safety recall campaign for 2018 GMC Terrain vehicles from 22nd July 2018. In these vehicles, the sensing diagnostic module (SOM), which provides crash sensing and deploys airbags in the event of a crash, may not power down correctly when the vehicle is powered off. If this condition occurs, the SOM may be inoperative when the vehicle is restarted. If the SOM is inoperative when the vehicle is started, the airbag warning lamp will be illuminated, the driver information center will display a "service restraint system" message, and warning chimes will sound. If the SOM is inoperative, the SOM will not detect a crash or command deployment of airbags, increasing the risk of injury in a crash. Dealers will reprogram the SOM with updated software. General Motors have taken the decision jointly with the Ministry of Economy to launch a maintenance campaign to inspect the vehicles involved in the UAE and, if required, complete the necessary repairs to ensure customers' peace of mind.
