  1. Eagerly watching this thread, for any possibility of a slot in this ride.. Tough luck probably 😄🤞🤞
  2. thanks @Brette, they have been with me on couple of Carnity NB drives and kids really enjoyed....so 🤞
  3. Hello @Brette, just to inform you that my family (W+2K) will be joining me on the drive. Hope its OK
  4. Was a wonderful, nice, technical mid week drive , thanks to @Anish S and support team @Lakshmi Narasimhan, @RooRzOn. and 2L @Alain Canivet-Abikhalil....and not to forget @Marwan Haddad who created a new position called 3rd Lead 😂 as L and 2L were in-seperable at times due to the nature of terrain !! the drive was worth the early "bunk" from my worksite 😉, every minute Right mix of intense technical stuff and fast paced long range dunes, cross overs, broad ridge rides etc. Sustaining long sideys still prove to be a challenge for me, as i lost confidence mid way on couple of them, and exited early. Waiting for the right technique to present itself, as i get to practice more . This mound of sand on long side slopes, created by the cars in front always scares me, as a pivot for roll overs, so the moment i see a fairly high sand mound, my mind goes blank 😃 Tried to create some video links..excuse the quality and vibration...taken with iphone on a 50AED holder
  5. Thank you @Anish S. Please confirm start time - is it 4pm or 430pm? Calendar shows 430pm and drive detail mentions 4pm
  6. I drive a JKU2015, and i always pull out the J6 fuse, to disable ABS and TC. (Pull out and re-install fuse only when engine if off and key is out of the keyhole) Completed 15 drives with Carnity and no issues at all. Not sure, about JL, maybe due to different electronics. Lot of JL owners in the group, tagging some of them @Alain Canivet-Abikhalil, @varunmehndiratta, @Goutam
  7. Thanks for the nice and challenging ride @Islam Soliman, it really helped me to widen my limits and conquer my fears, and go beyond what i am used to. Driving behind our Jimny man @Nathan Evans, who was 2L, i could always see 2 tracks , the wider ones of the behemoth yukon of our lead @Islam Soliman and second - the very tight ones belonging to the Jimny , and very deceiving, if i try to follow the latter!!! Keeping up the pace and choosing the right exits from bowls in low visibility was really a challenge and our lead Islam definitely deserves a round of applause for doing this safely, although i think we could not fully execute what he had in mind for us due to the fog, nevertheless!! Thank you @Hisham Masaad for the tug, the first one in my life 😀👍...thanks to the patience of all fellow drivers , as i think i got crested unnecessarily at a very easy spot, the fear of rocks on the other side, as warned by Islam, was the culprit and resulted in my hesitation in giving gas. All in all , the drive definitely gives me a sense of satisfaction and achievement, as @Islam Soliman was mentioning in his closing brief. Thanks again to the convoy, until we meet again, Looking forward and coming back for more!! Relive link https://www.relive.cc/view/v7O9VrdKyL6 Some photos in gallery too.
