  1. Thank you @Srikumar and @Gaurav, i appreciated your help. I went to BMW road and checked almost all the shops and most of them does not have it. However, few shops had it (e.g Ford) but they did not want to sell it to me after they asked for which car i need it. And lots of garages were ready to put any oil. Finally, i found one in Redline same type and grade (attached photos), hopefully this one will be ok.
  2. And to be honest, so many times we drove together @Mehmet Volga, you are managing and doing very well with the Pajero. I am very impressed by your driving skills.
  3. The mode selector for Pajero is very well documented by @Frederic which also explain the technicalities. Personally, it does not bother me anymore of not being able to climb Faya (though i still try 😉) and not do things that other cars are doing. I completely understand you @Mehmet Volga, but I feel the Pajero is a very capable car but it has its limits due to the weight, engine and gearing. I do-not think, the Pajero will climb better on 4HLc because i did try it few times. Actually, 4H is better to gain momentum to climb. By default, I always offroad on 4H and I use HLc only when i see a very soft or churned up area where the chance of stuck is high. I personally think that since the 4H distributes more power to the rear wheels than the front wheels, the car's rear wheels tend to dig in easily on soft patches and the front wheel does not have enough power to pull the car out. However on HLc, since the power is distributed equally to both rear and front wheels, the traction is well balanced and the car floats better in super soft sand with lesser chance of sinking.
  4. @Nivin, I am avoiding this discussion for a while now😜

  7. Hello Everybody, I am struggling to find the gear oil SAE 75W-85 (GL3 or GL4) for transfer case of pajero. I even tried the agency but they said they don't sell it. Any idea where I can get it?
  8. The JZX 2T floor jack is out of stock, i went to DM today 🙁
  9. Congratulations @Abu Muhammad, very well deserved...it's always amazing to see you and the monster Sequndra in the sand....
  10. Sorry for the incident and glad to know that you are safe. Based on the video, i personally think that a longer approach was needed to climb especially when you have a heavier vehicle. The approach and angle to climb the dune look sharp, it was a too sudden climb to actually gain enough momentum to slide slope, criss cross or ridge ride. You will notice there was another track few meters before you started the climb, it is better to take a smoother path by starting to climb earlier and gradually with enough momentum. If there is a loss of momentum and if you are fishtailing, steer down smoothly towards the tail and descend. Lastly, in such situation, sudden turn and brake are very risky. Thank you for sharing the video @Zed, so we all can keep learning...
