  1. @Wrangeld and @Jeepie you both did very well as leads no doubt. Just that the heat and soft sand was getting everyone stuck. I feel every refusal or stuck is a learning experience for newbie/fewbie as this is what we need to get out of. More we learn in harsher conditions, probably the better. Of course everyone wants to drive on dunes without getting stuck, but that probably will never teach you how to get out of a stuck situation.
  2. Thanks @Emmanuel and @Wrangeld for a exciting drive. Quite a learning how to deal with soft sand on an extremely hot day... hope to make it to iftar bowl sometime soon. We could realise how soft the sand was as soon as we entered . It was towards the end the breeze was getting more comfortable. Some pictures uploaded in gallery.
  3. Wonderful drive superman @Rahimdad. Thank you @Brette, @Vanessa8580 and @Wrangeld for guiding and helping everyone. Super exciting to drive a bit carefree now without worrying I will hit something or break something...but getting used to it a bit better. Some pictures uploaded in the gallery.
  4. @Frederic if the RSVP limit is not reached and spots are available I would like to join for morning drive . Please let me know when you make the final list . TIA

  6. Super thrilling drive today evening, well done and thank you @Shamil, @Srikumar and @Desert Dweller for taking the whole convoy through a drive which was filled with fun and adrenaline. Again a "hot" drive in the blazing summer 🌞, some pictures uploaded in gallery.
  7. Hi @Emmanuel, this will be my first desert ride (on Friday this week)as the car was in garage for maintenance and over heating , all fixed and tested now.🙂
  8. Definitely I will tell you as I am not sure if we are supposed to discuss garage names here. @Srikumar I was under the impression that anything 6 mm or more was better and hence got then fixed as I felt they were pretty solid to take the brunt as the radiator was very low in xterra. Awaiting opinions from other xterra owners here , which will help others who are planning to put a skid plate on their xterra.
