Hello dears Am eager to know how to modify my car to minimise damage possibilities, and yet keep the elegant look that suits the city Hi @Lorenzo Candelpergher I noticed that you have the new model 2020 and it looks awesome. Is it a t1? Or did you modify the bumper and added a skid? It would be amazing if you can share some advises Thx

Hi all, so wifey discovered the photo below after the recent Solar Park trip where I should have braked properly 😅 (*lesson learned!) And now I'm looking into modifications (I hope I won't be addicted to offroad mods after this)... but do you guys invest in Skid Plates? I got a quote for Nissan Patrol Y62, front skid plate AED1850 (not including VAT) and rear skid plate AED1300 (not including VAT). If it's really worth the price... should you do just the Front skid (and only invest in rear skid after a situation like this happens to the back of car) or might as well do both front+back skids in one-go?

We have a lot of Xterra users in our team. We don`t have a thread putting together all the must modifications for Xterra. Lets discuss them here to have these documented all together under one thread. - Skid plate Since the radiator is sitting too low at Xterra this is one of the must to do modification to protect your car. What to be careful is to have one with radiator brackets. - Towing Points Many people are mentioning original towing points are not strong enough. Is anyone done this modification can explain what to do what to be careful? Is front and back both needs to be changed? Last leaders lead my back towing point bent a bit and touched to the bumper. I am willing to change it with something heavy duty. - Kill Switch I personally don't have one. I am just closing the traction control button when i start off roading and i haven`t had any issues so far. Many says this is essential, why? I haven`t had any difficulties so far.

Hi Carnity Family, Though I am very new to off-roading and have just started by AMAZING drives with this family, I was just wondering if it is mandatory to install skid plates on our LC 200 GXR v6 model. In my very limited and newbie knowledge, LC seem to have some covers underneath but I seek the professional expertise and knowledge of the Carnity family to advise. Look forward to hear from you!

Hi all, As I get ready to joint the newbie session and pick up the recovery gear, radios etc. I came across this offer for 4mm skid plate full (front, mid and tank), 900aed fitted. I am struggling to confirm if 4mm is enough protections. The offer is great and I know I am not planning any extreme trips or driving to the limits so am keen for advise. thanks again all. Posting again to ensure I follow the rules (apologies admins)

Hi every one, First of all i should thank the Carnity Offroad Team for taking me to the desert with the wonderful convey and sending me back with improved skills and knowledge of offroading. When i had been to this newbie drive with carnity off-road team, i felt ok with my car performance, but i felt to fix the 3-issues before going to the next drive at the primary stage. 1. Lifting the Car suspension for more clearance. 2. Fixing the Recovery Hooks for Front and rear ( though it has assembling kind of hooks-screws). 3. Skid Plates below the Engine. 1. The first one i get it done by lifting it for 2'' at Sharjah, so i can feel bit safe on my front bumper. And i can feel the same quality of ride as before. But for skid plates and recovery hooks i have inquired with some shops, they were not much confident about fixing these things and the price they were asking was really high, so can some one kindly suggest that where i can fix these Tow hooks and Skid plate. And is there any other ways that i can use the rope/thread fixed to the bolt or plate. When i searched it online i found something as attached. Kindly refer me a shop, if some body knows in Sharjah or somewhere. Thanks. Prakash
