A correction to my earlier comment, Bilstein 4600 is for stock height, and Bilstein 5100 is for lifted cars. So if you are running stock height you have to look at 4600 series.
yup, in the link Frederic shared, Bilstein 4600 were for around 500USD, so the overall costs are a lot higher compared to KYB, so I'm going for the KYB's soon

I thought I replied to an existing topic, but it seems I've created a new topic,
nevertheless, thanks for the suggestion @Frederic, I'll be going for the KYB Excel series soon!
Can you tell me the overall cost and where you got them done from?

Hi @Barry, I have a gen3 Pajero and Im looking to change my shocks too, I do go offroading so what shocks would you recommend? KYB costs around 1200 for all 4 with labor, Im willing to pay a bit more if I can get shocks which are better for offroading.

@Mohamed Seidam we have tried using hand brake, but its not recommended for prolonged periods. Best way would be to dig, use the blip blip @Gaurav bhai tradenark and steering full left and full right 5 times. If nothing works than tug the poor vehicle out.
Whats @Gaurav's blip blip technique?

Good Morning @Frederic,
Thanks for the warm welcome,
1. I drive a 06 SWB Pajero 3.0
2. This will be my 2nd drive in the desert, I've had one drive with a different offroad club previously.
3. Yes, my tow points are in good condition.
Is getting a compressor mandatory? If so can you suggest a good one and where to get it from ?

Timing Belt and Water Pump
in Mitsubishi Pajero Forum in UAE
Posted · Edited by Jasim Khumi
I have a gen3 pajero and for my 120K major service I changed the timing belt along with the pulleys(I think), is a waterpump change mandatory at this milage?
Alternatively, can anyone recommend the general parts to replace during the 120K service?
