  1. Conquest of solar park Several times we either crossed it from or to Faqa in the past but never actually , for me , looped it the way we did today with Richard . What a conquest to version sand as no one was there before . I liked it a lot . with late two drop out left the convoy even more compact within a strong chain it’s front was our friend Richard @Wrangeld who lead us in an exploration mode that felt so exciting to all of us . Thank you Richard for this amazing day. There was no way to miss it 😄. @Niki finally we met and it was an absolute pleasure . Driving with you being our second lead was perfect . I will remember the few tricks in capturing clicks 😊 @Anoop Nair @Sunil Mathew and @Adhir Saxena I drove with you guys before and again today our quest was just great . @Rawad driving a beast at the back through all this churned soft sand and at times in super tight technical i rarely heard you on radio which says it all . Perfect and keep it up bro. @marks last time we were in area 53 and here we go another quest together in team Carnity . Thanks for watching our back and for all the help. I would say it felt different . Felt as if every one understood the game and the loop we did so nicely and with great spirit . cheers and wish you all great week ahead
  2. Very well explained and true . In my opinion when you start to know you car behaviour as it is you will know how to handle it accordingly . However generally speaking no matter how stock or modified is your vehicle ( suspension , tune , tires … etc ) I believe while you are performing specific manoeuvre from A to B like long sidy for example bear in mind that you don’t have much time ( split seconds ) to play with while doing it ( gas , gear shifter , let go gas … ) and that’s why achieving the momentum ( trick : bit higher not much ) from the start and keeping it constant before the entry point will let you have time to navigate within the momentum buffer without loosing it . also flooring the gas paddle is seldom effective if you were not prepared ahead as the vehicle fluids response while in 45 degree inclination at long side or climb is totally different .
  3. The trick is to plan ahead in which gear and speed you need to be in and not while you are in the middle of long sydy or a steep climb , this sounds ideal as the unexpected things along the spesific performed path may occur which might force to bit go up or down with your gear or gas paddle .. I believe with practice it becomes like a morning coffee handling thing 😅
  4. The throttle control for me as I see it in my X , or this is me , foot almost constant on gas paddle while changing as example from 3 to 2 or from 2 to 1 and after getting the desired torque then comes the speed to maintain the momentum which will carry you from point A to B ( example long sidy like we did on Saturday in Sweihan )
  5. I think this also depends on the driver style and preference specific to his vehicle trim for my Xterra i always drive on D generally regardless of the level of drive keeping D2 For long ridge riding or some tight technical where control is prime along with steering D1 for high climbs be it ascend or descend for better engine boosting or breaking
  6. Congrats @JeromeFJ well deserved you did really good keep it up safely as always bro 👍🙏
  7. I wouldn’t mind to get the dig in my nose (PCR) 🤣 every other week after I sow AD dunes . And now after this is ain’t needed any more I am thinking of camping 🏕 with kids the night before when weather becomes more better and wake up for a nice newbie /fewbie drive
  8. This is when you better get a refusal or stuck than to take over from above . Eventually we both reversed and continued safely 🙏
  9. Yes I will try it for the next one , it will be easier to edit it short than to post fragmented one 🙏👍
  10. Let me dig for more in my dash camera and I will post so it will be even more tempting 😄😎
