  1. I am thinking to post one night “catch me if you can “ sort of drive soon in this particular area with some restriction to number and level something like IM + level where you don’t have time to see and just to react in the darkness 😈
  2. Drive report Indeed it was a beautiful drive under the full moon light . After brief we started our way straight to the long range dunes of Murqab where every one did great in the play ; riding on wide ridges and side sloping perfectly . After that we took our first break on the sabkha and the full moon became more bright and clear as the haziness started to disappear. From there we translocated to planet Qudra via the “worm hole 🕳️ “ paja route finding ourself in the secret garden ( not secret any more 😄) and here I pushed it a bit and the flow was fluid and nice trying cross in a non newbie way whenever that was safe and possible and truly I was impressed .. the route took us to our second break facing the beautiful lake. it was time to head to exit and while crossing one of the vehicles got royally crested and this was virtually the only real stuck which made us to exercise shovelling while the moon watching from above and no rope was needed 😊 On the track to exit I debriefed the convoy and everyone seems happy with positive input. now I can declare you the knight ,( with K not N ) , Riders 👍 @JC_E thank you for replacing Michael Aser in the second lead as he had an issue with his car and couldn’t make it. You were as perfect as I expected from you to be .👍waiting to see the insta clip/ pictures 😊 @Bhaskaran Ramaswamy it was pleasure meeting you for the first time . I am sure the boys they liked it a lot . BTW your self recovery of the crest was fantastic 😉 @Alex K you did great in the night drive and nice to meet you too . @Warbs three night drives in a row . 6. Hello and welcome to Carnity offroad club . few points worth mentioning here regarding desert driving in the night , more to be emphasized and reminded during the brief at the meeting point . 1. No need for offroad lights except for car number 1 . If you have them that’s ok to use them unless the front car asks kindly to let it off. All what you need is just to follow strictly the front car . The high beam stock lights/fog lights are adequate in convoy trips 2. Always see where you step ( hand torch or headlight ) during inflation , deflation and during the breaks. 3. Try to avoid the bushes when out from car. 4. it’s highly recommended to have your legs and feet covered as creepers like exposed feet and legs 😅 5. always carry your radio where ever you go. 6. the speed and distance between cars falls into half of that during daylight drive ( will talk more in the brief ) 7. Desert driving rules holds valid and more emphasized here as we are bound with limited visibility. 8. last but not least night drives are different world to explore and experience. It’s nice , cool and it’s another level of enjoyment . Once you master it I assure you that you will be able “ to see without seeing and to you the darkness will become as clear as the daylight “ We request every member who joins this drive to go through the information below and strictly follow these guidelines, etiquette, and responsibilities. 7. Highlights of Qudra II Newbie Night Drive : Thank you all for being even a head of time which shows how punctual and passionate you are . Respect 🙏 Seeing full house families , meeting new faces and chit chatting during the breaks with humor and big smiles is all what are these drives are about after all 🙏 all convoy despite some tricky spots did more than great and this reflects how when we stick to the rules of desert complications are the least to happen. In fact in this particular drive apart from couple refusals there were no stucks no ropes out neither shovels were needed. Faraz in the second lead , Andrew in the middle and Mahesh tailing the convoy were truly the back bone of the convoy helping when ever needed. Big thank you guys 🙏 I wish all of you pleasant weekend and see you in another night drive next week Inshallah ( full moon Night 🌕 ) Cheers Seidam
