Please can I ask you kindly to confirm your spot by today morning ( by posting confirmed msg ) and if your plan has changed to leave it for the next one on list to avoid last min drop out . 6. @Zed excellent analysis . to add : the best when you switch in double curved dune or circular dune like the PB always cross the ridge in descend as you can see the line better and distinguish it from overlapping lines from behind. i had no choice when i realized this little curve because simply i was a foot lower in my line. and the momentum brought my X already on the ridge and there was no way to accelerate now or i would have flipped. instead ( as you hear the engine sound from the clip at the last moment ) at the exact moment of my rear slip as you see in your picture the front wheels turned toward the continuous momentum direction in attempt to control , all this happened in my mind and act in split sec. the only fear of mine was an induction of double fish after the correction on the other side but luckily did not happen. thankfully all got the point and got higher than my line to ride the ridge longer and from a higher point to exit safely.
  7. There is only one way to know .don’t miss the drive 😅 … sure will explain it during the brief on site
  8. The sand in some areas was incredibly soft that if you decelerate a bit you get bogged to the knees 😅
  9. Sure my friend . Please follow the Link below and once approved by the crew you are more than welcome to join ( if approved before Friday rest assured I will add you back ) https://carnity.com/forums/topic/15974-transfer-your-previous-off-road-experience/
  10. @Imteeaz @MMansoor@Ranjan Das and @Zed From the dash cam ( the part what no one sow when I crossed the ridge ) Open the you tube to see it clear please share your comments and query. This is the way how we learn it better for us and others .
  11. Dear @MohamedSherif from your carnity profile I see that you are still in the newbie level and this drive is fewbie . For your own safety I am afraid I have to remove you from the RSVP list .
  12. Dear “ Pajero bowl “ team @Ranjan Das @Imteeaz @MMansoor @Zed We all definitely now had the experience of it ( for me it’s first time in Al wagan as well as in PB 😅 ) . Please have a look at this clip and the purpose is to think about the geometry of the bowl and best exit point with least centripetal force which tends to throw you off the ridge .

  15. Our first refusal came brilliantly with self recovery 👍 @Ranjan Das
  16. That looked slightly tense situation. How to tackle ? first : no helping cars should stop up unattended , even with hand brake up to max and on P ; the gravity momentum is big and risk of the unattended any car to roll is probable . Instead we climbed on foot with shovels to help it out. second the bogged y62 no driver nor passenger allowed to move out and stay calm with reassurance Third : sand wall clearance from the rear right only leaving the remaining sand as a fulcrum where about the rotate and slide in reverse in same time gently . Plan A : with instructions step by step came down safely with God Grace 🙏 in case didn’t work . Plan B : connect all our ropes together ( this is the reason I asked in the intro the more ropes you have the better 😄) . To the rare recovery point . And one stabilising rope from above ( this would have been real challenge to get to the other side and find the best position 😅) . Then with synchronised action should come .
  17. The last action of the day. So tired to shovel it out 😅 thanks @Ranjan Das for pulling me off the crest 🙏
