  1. After every drive; either on Friday or on Saturday I take my car to the nearest petrol station to have it washed. I choose the normal cost wash but I ask them to wash the underbody and the inside of the engine bay as well - it is a weekly affair for me. After every 3-4 washes I ask them to do the extreme wash - where they use hot water to wash and they spend a lot more time underbody as well. Am I overdoing it? To think of it petrol station is a more expensive place compared to some dedicated carwash. Any suggestions near around Al Quoz area? Those are some extreme milages. I am curious how much you drive everyday.
  2. Me and my son are very excited to be back in Liwa. We had great fun last time on 2nd Dec. I am planning come over the Thursday evening from Dubai and set up a tent for the night. Can I set up the tent in the vicinity of the meeting point? If not suggest any other place.

  4. On this chilly morning we had a great time at Margham enjoying the loops. Thanks @Chaitanya D and @Vanessa8580 for this great drive. Secret Santa was a pleasant surprise. Thanks a lot Santa, merry Christmas to y'all. My kid (10 yr old) and his friends had a great roller coster ride round the loops. I posted few more pics in the gallery. (some of them had miniature mode was on).

  9. Al Qudra had nothing on me this time. Last 3 times I was here, it ripped my bumper every time, not this time na na - this time I was ripping the Qudra. The drive was so quick paced - I didn't even have time to take photos, and without any major refusals, seemed the drive ended a bit too early as I have never came out of it with Sun still in the sky. Thanks @Vanessa8580 , @Tamas Hoffmann and @Janarthan for making it a most enjoyable drive. Few Pics my Son took.
  10. I have broken my rear bumper 3 times already. All at Al Qudra - every single time I have driven there I came back with a broken bumper, as if Al Qudra has some grudges with my rear bumper. First time when it happened the service center advised it will cost me around 3k with labour as apart from the plastic bumper that cost AED 900, labour is AED 1100 and other costs. When I tried to do the police complaint for Insurance - the good police man advised me better to go to an outside garage and get it done. So ended up "fixing" which practically made it like new and costed me 450+ taxes. 2nd time I had got though proper insurance = police complaint 500+insurance charges 750+taxes and I saw the job card it was around 3900. Now I am on my third bumper. At official service center Rubicon Metal Bumper will cost AED 3850+ taxes. I am going with Zip Ties for now. In Liwa I replaced the zip ties 2-3 times. But Planning on getting an off brand Metal Bumper which will cost 1979 and a new set of number plates as well I suppose as the rear one has to be the one of those short number plate.
