  1. It is indeed a great addition. I had seen it after last week’s drive when I was updating my excel file I maintain for my drives. there was an afternoon drive I could not attend with @Foxtrot Oscar after a couple of pop outs on my JL in the morning drive with @Gaurav and my then dead beat Compressor took 5-10 min to fill up each tyre. That drive still shows up in the list. Perhaps no-shows need to be marked out for clarity sake. There could be also situations where some late entry participants might just come in to join at the time of starting of the drive. It would be great to see details from the admin side added to the database perhaps in a future update such as - the Gaia GPS metrics, officiating members names (lead/2nd lead/ Center Forward/ Sweep etc) and convoy position in a tabular form. I guess it is too much to ask so soon now, isn’t it?
  2. I understand, It was my mistake. I only saw the calendar and missed to consider there could be waitlists, and that it is still Monday. A day too soon to join like this. This week everyone gets to go to just one drive each.
  3. Yes i joined today. I had joined in the sole Intermediate drive initially yesterday evening but when i saw an opportunity here i exited that drive and joined here. If out of turn entry, put me in the waiting list please.
  4. As usual it was great driving with you @Foxtrot Oscar at the lead. Everyone drove exceptionally well and during the first half of the drive, I was literally thinking if there could be a drive without the word "refusal" uttered and a momentarily zoned out me was not able to climb a teeny tiny slop and then heard the word spoken by @M.Seidam who was behind be. I was a bit irritated at myself at that. The drive kept on getting mildly more challenging as everyone was keeping up as the drive progressed and I loved every bit of it.
  5. A wonderful drive indeed. Thanks a lot @Frederic! Looking forward to many more drives with you.
  6. Thanks a lot @Islam Soliman, it was to be a wonderful fun drive, until the unfortunate incident with your car.
  7. Update: A powerful industrial strenght compressed air at a car wash helped clean the sand and the distortion was removed. Earlier I was blowing with air from my ARB twin compressor - but it wasn't enough.
  8. "Better Template" is a subjective thing to ask. Whatever is easy for you to enter data into and which helps track your record is the better template. But here you go with a truncated version of my somewhat not so simple file I made to track my own drives. I made this one for my wife who only did an absolute newbie drive, couldn't go to the 2nd one. DriveDB Sheet and Members Table (in List Sheet) are optional and used when one want to see with whom they are driving most. One can add more columns in the Summary sheet to record their (Gaia) GPS drive data and link to the online version of the same. List sheet is used as validation of the input data & Greyed out columns are automatically picked up. The file is structured in this fashion so that the data input is validated and can be used to make pivot tables / reports if one wants to - of course one might want to enter a lot more data points to be able to do more. 9. @Kailas apologies for the inconvenience, my wife had an issue of claustrophobia due to dark night + tinted glass and my son wanting to sit in the front to enjoy the drive, but yes she is fine now eventually.
  10. I just assumed warranty won’t cover sand in the dash. Will check in next visit. Thanks for the update.
  11. Congratulations @Arman ! Loved the lights on your flag pole.
  12. My first experience in the night driving, and it was as fun as I expected it to be. Thank you very much @Kailas for the drive and letting me be the 2nd lead. thanks to @Islam Soliman for all the hard work you put in the very drive I have the privilege to drive with you. Shoutout to @Jeandre Bezuidenhout. @Ahab Shamaa will we miss you the Saturday afternoon? Hope it gets sorted soon, and thanks to @Shehab Alawadhi for the last big tug that was so needed. Also hope @Hardik Mody, your car is faring well now.
  13. PS: The Apex valves don’t work well with the petrol pump air compressors. It might not be a problem for most since all would have a compressor in the car and use it to inflate. I have a OCD for the correct numbers on my dash and would visit them 1-2 times a week to make sure it is uniform, 😔
  14. The speakers are located near the knee area not easily accessible and would require removing the complete dashboard. I am not sure warranty will cover this situation as there is no problem with the product. It is self inflicted. I tried compressed air from my air compressor but it did not help. The best result I got when I spanked the area where the speaker grill is located with with hand, it did help a bit and a lot of sand fell off behind the dash. The crackling sound came down but still present. I ran the speaker with full volume to agitate the sand off, it hardly helped. While installing A Pilar spotlights this week I asked the garage people to clean it a bit, as they were putting a switch in the vicinity the cleaned a bit more. But a faint distortion is still present. I too had issues with sand getting stuck in the AC buttons. When the service manager saw my car without a roof he had advised me to ensure they are kept clean, since otherwise the buttons could get jammed. Luckily it was not severe in my case. I don’t think Jeep service center does any work to clean the dash of sand, and even if the will do, it will cost a ton.
  15. One can buy on Amazon, bit expensive though.
  16. I drove my Jeep Wrangler JL without the roof for a month, approx 7-8 drives, and it got drenched with a lot of sand in the dash area as well. Some sand dripped through dash to the speaker under the front dash near my knee area in the driver side and it makes crackling sound. When I asked the authorised service center to clean the dash they said it will cost 1000 bucks to remove the front dash and clean it. Please advise what to do.
  17. Got fitted rapid deflation valves today. Just 10 seconds per tyre to deflate now. They pressure up a bit quicker as well.
  18. @Thomas Varghese you are a "Monster of Milage"; I thought only commercial vehicles do those kinds of numbers. My rear left tyre started to deflate automatically after the last mystery drive. Since I was travelling, my better half (@Desert Wrangler ) took the vehicle to a couple of petrol pump tyre shops where they said there is no puncture but the valve seems to be the culprit and it will cost AED 130 for the valve replacement and need to order 2 days in advance. I was planning to install the rapid deflating valves anyways so gave the car to a shop and asked them to clean the tyres as well.
