  1. Bravo @DANIEL NOGUEIRA 👏🏻 I think your V8 is a beast 😍 That first climb was a testament to it. Superman @Rahimdad,one piece of Kryptonite coming right up 🤣 And you call me naughty 😂🎅🏻
  2. Whoa! @Wrangeld 😀 that is a very lucid, well thought off and scientific explanation 🤣 With that, I don’t foresee any Xterras anytime soon in my future 😜
  3. @Sandyman85, @Emmanuel, @Gaurav@Sajit Modiyil, @Chaitanya D, It’s very surprising for Nissan to be only offering a 4 cylinder version, while the Defender and the Rubicon are about to release their V8 versions with 500+/450+ HP respectively ❤️ I guess, Nissan doesn’t want to position its X as a full time off-roader, and doesn’t see itself in the same competitive class as other popular off-road cars? What does does our marketing guru @Wrangeld think of this? Moreover, what do @Foxtrot Oscar, @Mohamed Seidam and the rest of the X Tribe think of the newer version of their rig?
  4. You are too kind @Rahimdad 😘 I foresee a batch of olive bread in your future 😜
  5. It was very hard not stay relaxed and houmerous😀 @Rahimdad, you kept on cracking funny jokes that relaxed the convoy. Secondly, a frowning @Asif Hussain with an improvised headgear, looked like Ibn Battuta 😜. Lastly, @Brette (Brat, Bret, Bretty, depending on who you talk to), with his calm & reassuring attitude gave me the urge to start some meditation and Yoga exercises 🤣 It was literally my teammates who did most of the work, and got me out of this stuck. All I did is ask people to take pictures of me, so that my wife believes I was in a sticky situation (she’s a firm man-flue believer), and listen to some cool music while overlooking the busybodies working around my car 😀
  6. @Niki Patel, I had something to do with the toy FJC being used as a demo 🤣 We FJ owners have to hypnotize the Jeepers with the awesomeness of the cruiser, tactfully, subconsciously... 😜
  7. Oh wow! What an idiot I am @Mohamed Seidam, I hadn’t realized that we’re gonna finally be meeting in person, until I read your messge 😀 That’s fantastic bro; looking forward to it and looking forward to showing you my awesome cresting skills! I tell you, even as an absolute newbie, I’ve been able to get myself crested on my own; absolutely no help from anyone. Now imagine what I’ll be able to do as a Fewbie; I’m gonna destroy the competition! 🤣 See ya soon ISA!
  8. @Mohamed Seidam, you’re a doctor, you can always get yourself unstuck 🤣 Now, for some healthy competition, we should count and see who takes the cup for crestings. I thought I was the absolute champ in that field, until your revelation, which got me thinking that I might have challengers out there 😜
  9. Very true; sometimes though, the difference of being stuck and unstuck is a matter of a few centimeters forward or backwards I’m definitely saying it’s not ideal, especially in cresting situations, however, IMHO, it can be done. Bottom line is, if you’re gonna be stuck alone, it’s a good thing to have a positive attitude, and as many gadgets as possible to get yourself out. A combination of many tools and techniques might be your salvation...
  10. Hey guys, this is my humble take in this, as a winch owner 😀 @Aus Alzubaidi, @Mohamed Seidam, @Frederic, @Gaurav, @Alexander AlcalaIf you are in the unfortunate situation of being stuck alone with no anchoring points, you can get still yourself out with a good winch and a ground anchor, no matter how soft the sand is. The Deadman soft anchor is a good option in that it’s light, and saves space. The spare tire is a good option also, if you have no dedicated anchor. I’ve seen people try to anchor their winches with HiIift Jacks, Maxxtrax, etc.; basically, anything they can burry under the sand to use as an anchor. Needless to say, all those options are very labor intensive and you’d be digging for a while (especially if you’re really dug in). Probably the same time it’ll take you to dig yourself out with a good shovel and left-right maneuvers 😀 There is a type of anchor that might be more suited for sand however, and that seems to require less work (there are many brands of this type of anchor, RedRock ARB or AnchorRight for example). This type of anchor is ideal for the desert self recovery using a winch. These types of anchors have come a long way in terms of weight and compactness. I hope this helps!
  11. Each picture, brings a great memory with it 😀 So many awesome pictures and so many fantastic memories.
  12. Hahahahaha Angela @Foxtrot Oscar! You’re such a cool lead, that I don’t mind helping with your tires 😀 Murqab is one of my favorite spots because it hides lots of surprises. @Arda Yagcioglu, unless radia channel is different than radio channel, I believe Angela told us channel 3 in her post above 🤣
  13. Thanks Doc @Mohamed Seidam! It’ll be my privilege and honor to make your acquaintance. You’re an amazing contributor to the board, and a wealth of knowledge. I have learned a lot from reading your posts. Now wether stuff sunk in or not, is yet to be determined 🤣
  14. Hey @Foxtrot Oscar, In the spirit of Leaders will Lead, and with your permission, I’ve decided to lead part of your upcoming Friday drive. My intention is to lead the convoy in the number of stucks and crestings of course 🤪
  15. Hahahahah! Ok @Niki Patel 😀 I agree; Google does come in handy. My issue now is that I’ve become so lazy, I don’t even wanna consult it. Imm waiting for Alexa to be smart enough to read my threads and answer on my behalf (making me look smart of course) 😂
  16. Hahahaha! @Rahimdad, I meant a rolling 12 months; not a calendar year 😂 But in all seriousness though, I look forward to enjoying life in nature with good people like yourself, and other fellow Carnityians 🙏🏻 God willing that’ll be in our cards...
