  3. That sounds like a great way to end a drive. Let's plan this.
  4. Congratulations @Imran Asghar. We were just talking about this on our last drive together and here you are. Welcome to the team and looking forward to hearing about the learning and training you, @Mike M. and @Mark B will be going through together. @Ishak, @Luke K P and I certainly had some trying challenges and some good laughs along the way. Enjoy and see you soon.
  5. Congratulations @Mark B. The three of you will have some great fun and stories together through your training and drives under supervision. The club and Carnity family will have another drive lead that embodies our principles and adventurous spirit. See you on the sand soon.
  6. This is great news @Mike M.. This is very much deserved as you embody all the qualities needed to lead exciting, enjoyable and safe drives in the club. Looking forward to exchanging stories of our Leaders training and supporting you on some of your drives. Enjoy this experience my friend.

  10. Good morning. The drive stats and route are below. It was a decent pace through the planned route with a stretch of sabkha and a track from Nahil to Sweihan gained us more distance than usual for this level of drive. Nonetheless, 60 kms exactly from start to finish with no recoveries needed meant a mostly well flowing drive.
  11. Post-Drive Report: Nahil & Sweihan Fewbie Plus Thank you all for arriving on time and ready for the briefing this morning—with just one minor latecomer, thanks for letting me know. We had to change up the convoy order at the start due to two members who couldn’t join us, but everyone adapted quickly and we got moving without delay. A warm welcome to our first-time Fewbie Plus drivers, @Shary and @vinayak n. You both did very well on your first FB+ drive, handling the faster pace and more challenging terrain with confidence. Great job! @Gertjan had a flag issue and moved into sweep, while @Cesar Chacon took over in second lead. Both of you maintained excellent communication with the rest of the convoy—thank you for that, and for being ready and focused to follow last-minute instructions. Your teamwork helped keep things running smoothly. Thank you as always to @J-P L for an excellent job as Centre Forward in Support. It’s always reassuring to know you’re looking after things in the middle of the convoy. It was great to meet you, @Ahmed Farouk and @Sherry Jacob. Looking forward to driving with you again soon! We had a few stucks and refusals, but these were all handled quickly with self-recovery or a bit of guidance—well done to everyone for staying calm and working together. Most of our fun was in the middle part of the drive, with some appropriately sized ridges for our newest FB+ members, long sweeping side slopes, and navigation from one set of dunes to the next. The teamwork and positive attitude throughout made for a fantastic morning. Thanks again for a wonderful drive—see you all next time! Drives stats and Relive video come later tonight or first thing tomorrow morning.
