  1. Congratulations @Vanessa8580, well earned. You were the sweep in my very first drive with Carnity and was extremely encouraged and motivated with your passion and energy towards this sport and carnity family. Thanks for all the support and guidance and looking forward to driving one under your leadership.👍
  2. Hi @Ale Vallecchi, probably a stupid question as your drive already mentions "Dubai", just need to check if will we be required to carry a covid negative test result for this drive (not sure if the start and end point would be within Dubai or Abu Dhabi limits)?
  3. @Brette thanks for kind words. Off course there was struggle but just managed to hide it from you 😉 (Just like last benchers do from Teachers). Now you know where I used to sit at school 😆 Thanks again for a fantastic day out and lots of learning. Looking forward to another lovely day in the near future.
  4. Fantastic day guys. Thanks @Brette for a awesome drive. Thanks @Kailas for keeping a check on all of us. Thanks to everyone for a safe and fun day. Looking forward to meeting up one of next drives.
  5. @Rahimdad Bhai, thanks for the kind words and trust. Honestly we all did well because we were guided by a very experienced, funny, patient leader and a great teacher. I hope to keep learning and improving from you and other Marshals/leaders and fellow off-roaders, looking forward to many more exciting weekends ahead. thanks to everyone on the drive and kind words of support, looking forward to meeting and learning from each one of you in our next drive. thanks to Carnity family, looking forward to another exciting weekend ahead.
  6. @Rahimdad bhai many thanks for the opportunity and hope to live up to your expectations
  7. @Ale Vallecchi apart from the steering direction, could it also be that the approach of the jeep was not correct? the car capturing the video seems to be on the top of the dune whereas the Jeep tilted on the left. Another query is if off-roading during summer should we be checking our tyre pressure frequently or keeping it lower as hotter air will increase the pressure. could that also be one of the culprits for this rollover.
  8. Going against Gravity. Car was leaning towards the right when the driver tried to turn left. Tail of the car moving towards right just assisted in the topple. Reasons possibly due to higher tyre pressure, accompanied by higher speed?
  9. Many thanks @Gaurav, I appreciate the honor and fully understand it comes with responsibility towards myself, fellow Carnity drivers and environment, constant learning and sharing. Thanks @Frederic @Abdul Rahman Abdul Kader @Rahimdad @Mohamed Seidam Frederic thanks for the support and motivation. Rahimdad pleasure will be entirely mine tomorrow to be driving and learning from a legend himself, appreciate the kind words.
  10. Rahimdad, i am happy to give my slot on this drive to any one if am accommodated on any of the other drives, Just letting you know i am flexible as long as i can get on any one of the drives this weekend 🙂
  11. Have been watching some of the videos posted and comments from the beginning and quite a lot of content, thanks to everyone who has contributed, as @Rahimdad said its wise to watch and learn what not to do. Most of the accidents/events are due to people defying logic/gravity or basic off-roading sense (easier said than done), isn't it wise to feel your car, as in gravity and your car will tell you when not to force your self and your car (its important to make the safer choice at that split moment, rather than be egoistic and risk damage or injury), again easier said than done because we make split second decisions. Most of the time its human tendency to do the extra mile (sometimes peer pressure, if he can do it so can i...or just having a competitive nature) which creates trouble, after seeing these videos realize how bad some of these could be (Life changing incidents) and its important for each one of us to realize this sport can and has the power to change your life. It is fun but one mistake can cause pain to yourself or your loved ones or someone else. I fully appreciate the grading and skill level now and thanks to all the Marshals/Leads that actually draw a safe path for all of us and promote safety.
  12. Thanks Frederic, much appreciate your kind words and encouragement, looking forward to some new challenges and some fantastic time off-roading while continually learning from the experts and Carnity family.
  13. Hello Sri, Unfortunately i will not be able to attend the drive on Friday. not sure how to remove my name from RSVP for this event. Hope to make it for the next one. Naved.
  14. Hello Srikumar and Carnitiy family. I have a 2006 Jeep Wrangler (grey). Has both front and back tow hooks, good condition. Have a deflator and compressor. have watched the Video briefing and understand the basics. Limited off-road experience (driven on Gulf news, Khaleej Times, etc organized drives). Do not have a radio, off-road flag and shovel (have a foldable one), intend to purchase theses after the drive. Looking forward for this drive and many more to come hopefully.
