@Luca Palanca Falsini thank you for a great drive today, we covered close to 40Km in 3.5 Hrs. Appreciate the advice you and @Francois Germishuys shared as well as the encouragement to use manual gear when climbing dunes, the difference was evident and as we drove I felt more comfortable shifting between D to 2nd and 1st gear. @Dodi Syahdar and @N@ved it was a pleasure meeting and driving with you again. Until next time, stay safe and have a great week ahead.

Digital Camera - Absolute Beginner Guidelines
Mario Cornejo replied to Frederic's topic in Lens Lovers Club's Discussions
Mods for cameras! I want a diff-lock button in mine On a serious note, apart from the usual settings of speed, aperture and ISO, from memory these will vary depending on the sensor of your camera, I remember when I switched from CMOS to Full Frame I did not have to play with speed and ISO that much, otherwise I would start picking up light from the city/roads nearby. A question to all: has anyone here tried a Bahtinov mask (to help focusing on stars) or a light pollution filter? -

Rural and urban landscape photography is a genre I personally enjoy. Whilst getting ready for a morning drive starting in Al Faqa, I took this picture just minutes before sunrise, I wish I had my tripod and a bit more time to take a couple of more shots at lower ISO and speed. Two photographers I check, from time to time, for inspiration are Elia Locardi and Thomas Heaton. In the UAE what areas do you recommend for desert landscape photography?
