Kailas has been promoted to Marshal level
Anoop Nair replied to Gaurav's topic in Off-Road Club's Announcements
Congrats @Kailas . Well deserved. Looking forward more exhilarating drives from you.👌 -
@Kailas it was a good drive like all your other drives with no or little refusals and always flowing. Moreover congratulations on Marshaldom 👌. Well deserved. See you on the next drive. @Gaurav got a drive with you after long time, thanks. @GauravSoni @Mukundan Nair thanks for looking after the convoy, but i guess today the work during the drive was less than usual (not after the drive due to the 2 cars). @Sara EL FANIDI @Joseph Sebastian hope both of your cars are ok and issues can be sorted quickly. All other fellow drivers, it was a pleasure driving with you and see you all on sand at the earliest.

Congrats @Islam Soliman Well done and well deserved. 👌 -
Thank you Richard @Wrangeld for the new wonderful area for the drive. It was really free flowing except for some occasional stoppage which did not affect the fluency at all. Good mix of technical, crisscrossing and side slopping in the drive which made it really interesting. @Niki you as SL made it much easier to follow. thanks @M.Seidam @marksfor all support and advise. Good to see @Sunil Mathew @Adhir Saxena@Rawad again and hope to meet all of you in the sand very soon. After thought: Should have taken all the wires / cables we found there in the desert, with the current copper prices could have fetched a fortune😁

2014 Jeep Wrangler JK (3.6L Pentastar) Gearing issue
Anoop Nair replied to Roy Armale's topic in Jeep Wrangler Forum in UAE
thanks Roy @Roy Armale for the detailed explanation. I am curious to see how the e-lockers work in sand in real life situations, let's wait and see. By the way, do you mind telling me how much was the cost for e locker and how was the quote for the air locker with compressor set up. thanks again -
2014 Jeep Wrangler JK (3.6L Pentastar) Gearing issue
Anoop Nair replied to Roy Armale's topic in Jeep Wrangler Forum in UAE
Hi @Roy ArmaleHow is the e lockers in the desert? Have you installed it only on the rear or rear and front. My understanding is that it has a ball bearing system which will cause the diff lock to engage only after quarter or half rotation of the wheel once you flip the switch and again disengages and reengages when you go in reverse. Does that cause any issue? Did you consider air or manual lockers as an alternative. Would love to hear more as I was exploring locker installation options as I have no diff lock currently (as it is a sports trim) and the general consensus i got from the online community is to go with air lockers. @Alexander Alcala do you have any recommendation on lockers. -
