  1. @Mehmet Volga Can you remove me from the WL as I got into another drive on Friday. Thank you 🙏 I hope next week I get my spot with Carnity
  2. Pls add me to the afternoon drive. Let me know if I am in or is this also a waitlisted drive already. Thanks!
  3. @TboneThanks for great drive! Loved the challenging dunes although the Jeepers convoy thrw us off course but that led to some great opportunity to unite and test the Max Tracks and our digging skills! In this drive we only reaffirmed that momentum is your friend in the soft sand. Made some good friends as well. Loving this club with such a supporting bunch. @Nizam Deen. @Daniel YangBig thanks to you guys as well keep us all together.
  4. Thanks @Foxtrot Oscar for leading us through the soft sands. We faced lots of stucks in the convoy which only gave us chance to bond with the rest of the group while waiting so all happens for the best. The highlight was where we all stopped to inflate was really soft sand as well and next thing we know when @Foxtrot Oscarand @Alex Raptor leave we have 5 cars inflated and stuck 😂. Fortunately there was one car that was not and pulled one out and there-forth we all worked as a team and bail each other out while we blocked the entire on coming traffic on the highway. Lesson 1 : Never inflate on soft sand 😄 Never again. Lesson 2: Afternoon drives can become night drives sometimes 😜 Lesson 3: Use the stuck time to make some new friends 🙃
  5. @Chaitanya D I have left this drive as joining a Fewbie drive at that time, which had spot and I see there is waitlist for this drive so please see that someone else benefits from this spot. Thanks!
  6. Thank you all. Very special thanks to @Fredericfor onboarding me to this amazing club and his advise saved me a lot of unnecessary modifications which I was made to believe as essential. @Hisham MasaadAppreciate your recommendation as well to allow me to graduate to the next level and will always remember that smiling face since will have more opportunities to meet you at Fewbie drives as well. @GauravThanks for the quick response will definitely allow me to be more engaged with Carnity.
  7. Thank you @Foxtrot Oscar for a wonderful drive. @Hisham Masaadappreciate your support and guidance and felt good having you look over my back. Thanks rest of the convoy as well, would have loved to have a chance to get to know you all a bit more.
  8. @Lorrenzo Quashie Have some last minute family obligations which might not be able to wiggle out of. If you can get someone waitlisted to take this spot I would be glad. Will check again if no one has taken my spot in the next hour and I can make it will try and make it. excuse the last minute drop
  9. Just to be sure this is the page where I have to be at to secure my spot right?
  10. Thank you @Wrangeld for an Epic experience. It was my second drive with Carnity and I loved the challenge. It definitely felt like an anti climax in the start with the key issue and the initial stuck but @Alex Raptor saved the day and made me jealous of his fancy equipment. 😀 @Alain Canivet-Abikhalil Great to know you and your experiences. Hope to catch you on some other drives! Thanks to everyone else on the drive and being 3rd in Convoy means less interactions with those behind and being able grab those few moments to chat during stucks.
  11. Hey Frederic, I echo what Rajiv said 100% and your passion is contagious and your patience and commitment to the sport is admirable. The level of comfort you provide to us newbies is invaluable. See you soon. Kamal
  12. Do we require two ropes as well? Also which type ones are recommended and what kind of hooks should they have?
  13. Ok I checked the Prado has the two tow hooks. Here are the photos. Also attached is image of a walkie talkie from Amazon as per the intro video would this work?
  14. Hi, will check once again if a stock tow is there. If not any suggestions for where to get it installed? 1) Which 4x4 are you bringing ? Prado 2014 2) Any prior offroading experience ? If so, where and when ? Yes used to attend Gulf New Fun Drive for nearly 10 years. Not driven in the desert since the last 7-8 years but am quite confident just need to refresh myself again. 3) Are the vehicle's front and rear towpoints available and in good condition? Rear is fine, need to check the front. Also unable to get flag from Amazon. Any suggestions where to buy one and get it fixed?
  15. My car has a rear tow and not a front tow. It is 2014 Prado V8 4.0 Let me know if it is ok and if not any suggestions on where to get the tow fitted in Dubai. Thanks, Kamal
