Thanks @M.Seidam for the interesting and challenging drive today. We have experienced all kind of terrain today. I would live to do it again , maybe spend some more time at the little swehan are. And congratulations Dr. For the 💯 drives ( we need to celebrate it next time) @GauravSoni thanks for your support as always . Especially i loved your idea to cover the rocks with sand. Hi @GauravSoni thank you for the advice and you are right it is related to the air intake system . after trying to investigate the issue for a long time i figured out that the sound is coming from the front part of the air intake because i fixed an insulation foam ( which was a bit bigger than the original one and causing an air flow restriction then the hood was closed ). i have checked the following reading which seems normal: 1. vacuum ( around -20 at idle it goes up to - 0.5 when i rev up ) 2. AFR its always within the 14.7 value nd can go down to 11.5 when i rev it up 3. Intake pressure between 4 and 11 Psi

@Gaurav thanks for the information, after shopping around i thunk warn is the best option , even less weight than the others. My only problem is currently with the fabricatiin as apparently pajero needs to have a fabricated winch mounting brakets . Thanks

Personally, i got myself a 12 ton bottle jack of a Ford f150. I like it as its doing the job properly and compact not taking much of a space in my trunk.

@GauravSoni thank you for the fascinating drive, it was really interesting and challenging one. seeing the enthusiasm blended with excitement and uncertainty on everyone's faces before the drive made it really a special drive especially that we all made it safely to the exit . Hey Desert buddies , I need an advice for a recommend winch ( brand / Model ) and a recommend installation for my Pajero 2011 LWB. As i have been asking around , but some people over complicate it ( rocket science ) and others over simplify it ( to a limit you feel scared ) and safety is the number one concern here i don't want to end up installing a 12,000 LBS winch with some bolts or brackets that are rated at 50KG 😂🙈, neither install some over bulky brackets that will make the car hard to drive thank you in advance for sharing your experience with me
