  1. A well spent morning guys. Thanks @Davie Chase for leading us in your centennial drive. Here’s to wishing for many more safe drives to come. 🥂🥐 @Imran Asghar thanks for your solid presence throughout the drive @Issam Atra was nice to meet you again brother. @mohammed hope to see your 360 camera in action soon bro, and your skid plate acquired soon, breaks the heart to see the bumpers splayed bro. @Rafey Hashmi great going bro with the mini beast Jimny, it’s a capable car and hope to see you extract the best of it as you use it more. @Stan@Arun Menon@Naim Aoun@Srilakshman Karthikeyan hope to see you all back again soon. Hoping to get some pics shared on the gallery.
  2. Happy Birthday to @Carnity. May we all see many many safe years to come and the group grow stronger by the day. Amen.
  3. @Looper My sincere appreciation for leading us to a wonderful drive it was surely amongst one of the top ones for me. The climate was fantastic too overall. @Mohammad Sayawoush Azad, @Haneef Thayyilboth were amazing handling their huge heavy V8 behemoths on the later half of the drive. Amazingly nimble stuff. @Haneef Thayyil, bro, you were holding back abruptly or paused momentarily quite a few times, and surprisingly those places there were no obstacles or similar which could cause that. It just used to come out of nowhere for the minutest of periods but was enough to cause a sudden pace drop behind to us. Maybe some distraction. But it has happened on earlier drives also, so humble request to have a feel there. @Issam AtraBro you were resilient and never looked lacking. Only places where you had a refusal was due to me holding your position up. Super bro.
  4. @Looper I have taken the liberty to add myself to the drive as there seems to be a few slots available and the time to finalize your convoy is drawing nearer. But I’m tentative as yet as not aware of family commitments and can confirm by evening. Is this ok to do? Please advice. Hope I will not be a disappointment if I cancel back by evening. Please advice if this is acceptable.
  5. Great drive with a wonderful trail selected. I remember a previous drive also with @Hisham Masaadon this same track. The rolling dunes towards the latter half were fantastic. Thanks a lot @Emanuel, @Benjamin for the SL and Centre. @Issam Atra, your handling of the Cherokee was fantastic to watch powering up the climbs. The weather is still quite hot as the day progressed. My vehicle did not overheat but was venting out coolant from the reservoir vent (just as it is supposed to be), but was kept continuously monitoring the temperature on my ODBII display towards the end. Thankfully it was all good. See you all soon.
  6. @Looper brother I have to tender my apologies. Just came from a Saturday drive led by Hisham Massad and faced overheating issues at the last part of the drive. Thanks fully reached my mech directly without issues but the mechanic has held the car, so have no options in hand. Again, sincere apologies. May you all have a great and safe drive. 🙏🏻
  7. As I had doubted, I didn’t finish work on time. In the meantime hope you will have a fantastic fun filled and more importantly a safe drive. God willing, I will join you some other time.
  8. @Hisham Masaad Greetings brother. I have kept myself to waitlist instead of going because I’m not very sure if I can make it tomorrow on time at the meeting point. In case I do not turn up on time then please I would like to tender my apologies from now itself as I won’t be able to know till the last moment. Hope this can be acceptable.
  9. Congratulations @Tharun Kumar V, brother on levelling up. Enjoy your new level buddy, Will look forward to seeing you again.
  10. @Varun Mehndiratta, Wonderful drive and route taken! There was quite a bit of fauna seen along the way. Qudra always has breathtaking scenery. How you managed with the sand and the wind in your vehicle amazed me dear. It was quite rough at times. I perfectly will take note and improve on my radio communication. Thanks for the advice. And will immediately get the tires replaced. Will no longer push my luck now. That scare was enough. @Frans M , @Ishak, great in the SL roles. @Tharun Kumar V Your support in the centre was rock solid bro, and congrats for the new level up. Thanks for noticing the drop in pressure. @Ahmad Nerat , You managing the LC the in the tight terrain was amazing. @Mark B , @Pranjal Varsani1, @Gary F, @Rajat Verma, @rohit kumar - The big boys with mean machines, amazing convoy, it was a pleasure seeing you all. @Karthik Raptor commendable sweep, we all were assured having you dear.
  11. Whew!, it was a fastest finger first literally the way @Varun Mehndiratta 's drives gets totally booked out with ample people left in the dreaded WL column to make a full strength additional convoy. 😁 Enjoy guys, as it seems far fetched to get a 6-7 WL confirmed; but, I'll keep my hopes high and await.
  12. Perfect climate and a great convoy. Thoroughly enjoyed the morning. Many thanks to @Varun Mehndiratta, @Mike M., @Tharun Kumar V and @Zubair for their support all throughout. Have attached a .gpx route for those that may be interested in the route taken. Hope to see you all soon. Qarayţaysah - Bab Al Shams.gpx
