Karthik Raptor has been promoted to Intermediate level
ASAD. replied to Gaurav's topic in Off-Road Club's Announcements
welcome to the club buddy, im sure you will enjoy this level. Hope to see you soon. -
@GauravSoni thank you for the fantastic drive, one of the best ones i have done in the area. The idea of having everyone assess and try self-recovery themselves at inter level is very good, i especially learnt a few more things. Hope no issues with the car. @Hisham Masaad always a sense of assurance to have you in the convoy whether leading or supporting, thank you once again. @Zixuan Huang - Charlie thanks for sweeping the convoy, hope you are able to sort out the bumper problem. To the rest of gang, always great to meet the usual suspects, great driving. Will be signing off for a couple of weeks, hope to catch-up with all of you soon.

many congrats brother. im sure you'l do great in this role as well. -
@Hisham Masaad wonderful drive as usual and thanks for giving me the opportunity to be sweep, my first time in this position and absolutely loved it. like @Waqas Parvez mentioned, the drive was more Fewbie+ with some steep climbs but the convoy did exceptionally well to meet the level. @Abdelghani thanks for being SL, no doubt u have your fathers skills im sure you’l be leading some madmax drives of your own soon 😅 @Waqas Parvez great job as support, your promotion is well deserved. Hope to see you see all soon.

Thanks for sharing @Zed. Yes, tyre lube along with the ratchet method looks quite a logical way to fix poputs on these wheels in the desert. I was actually surprised that it did pop in the first place since i was running at 11psi but i guess a pocket and sharp turning led to that. think i will buy a ratchet and some lube just in case.

@Hisham Masaad thank you so much again for the drive. Wish i could continue to the more exciting part. Cant thank everyone enough for helping out withe the popout especially @Rob S @Waqas Parvez @Fabien Monleau & @Vaibhav. Car is fine and all fixed now but theres definitely some research needed on how to fix poputs on these beadgrips hope to catch u in the next badayer trip.

@Zed & @Thomas Varghese thanku so much, just saw your msgs. Reconnecting the battery took some time but @Zed like you said no lights initially but came back on after some time. I wont be able to make it to the meeting point ontime now anyway, better for me to sit this one out and get it checked rather than take a chance and spoil the fun for the rest of the grp. I hope you all have an enjoyable and safe drive, i will def catch up with you soon.

@Zed thanks i dont have a scanner unfortunately. Someone advised to remove the battery terminals overnight, i will try that and hope in the morning fault is clear. Are you sure it will be cleared with the scanner? Btw prado is a full time 4WD, so the 4H and diflock seems to be working fine. Its just the 4L function that seems to have the problem, not engaging also
