DRIVE DESCRIPTION Welcome to Carnity off-road club - Fewbie drive! Join us for an exciting off-road adventure as we gather at Badayer, Sharjah. Drive Plan: Badayer is usually known as the playground for Fewbie+ and Intermediate drivers, with its big dunes and tricky bowls. But this time, we’ll explore this famous area at a Fewbie-friendly pace. The idea is to introduce you to the beauty of Badayer while keeping the challenges manageable and fun. We’ll start the drive with smooth lines and gentle ridges, giving everyone time to warm up and get comfortable with the terrain. As we progress, we’ll gradually dip into slightly higher dunes and playful crossings, just enough to taste what makes Badayer so special, without going overboard. This drive is a perfect opportunity for Fewbie drivers who want to build confidence, sharpen their skills, and prepare for the step-up to more advanced drives in this region. By the end of the session, you’ll understand why Badayer is such a legendary spot in the UAE off-road scene. Please ensure your off-road gear matches your rank, and bring along plenty of enthusiasm and a strong desire to learn and grow your skills. To make this experience safe and enjoyable for everyone, we kindly ask all participants to carefully review the guidelines, etiquettes, and responsibilities outlined below and to follow them diligently throughout the drive. MUST READ AND COMPLY Environmental Policy Offroad Flag Guideline Two Way Radio Guideline Off road Driving Etiquette's Emergency details for all off-roaders Off Road Driving - Roles & Responsibilities Drive Details Level: Fewbie and above Meeting time: 06:30 AM (SHARP - Without any exceptions) Meeting Point: https://maps.app.goo.gl/WZU5bQBFKk9og9yU8 Type of Car: Any proper 4x4 with front and back tow hooks and 8-10 inches of ground clearance. What to bring along: Loads of water & snacks (for yourself), smiles, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. Mandatory off-road gears: Newbie and above, Tire deflator, tire pressure gauge, compressor, walkie-talkie radio, off-road flag, shovel, first-aid kit, fire extinguisher, Intermediate and above, Tow Rope and 2 soft Shackles. Note: Please ensure that all of your off-road gear is securely tied down with ratchet straps in the rear compartment of the vehicle. Bungy type tie downs are not suitable for tying down off-road gear. Approximate finish time: 10:00 - 10:30 AM P.S. Only join if you have a compressor to inflate your tires after the drive. LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE This drive is limited to 10 cars only. RSVP will close on Friday - 1 PM. If the RSVP is full, you can add your name to the waitlist, once anyone drops, you will be moved to the RSVP list. RSVP will close a day prior to preparing a convoy list. Latecomers will be returned back - Without any exceptions. Members without RSVP will be returned back - Without any exceptions. Please withdraw your RSVP, if you aren't joining, so your spot can be taken by others. Repeated no-show members after RSVP will have their account suspended for a month. Hi @Frederic, @Chrismayer, @Herman G, @Kashx2, @Diego, @Andrew John Melvill, @Yury.bel, @Mahmut, @Frans M, @Glenn W, Continuing from @Andrew John Melvill report, after that point, we reached the long ridges near our meeting location. We had about 30 minutes left, which we used for some exciting ridge riding. The terrain offered long sliding slopes, allowing us to pick up a bit more speed and end the drive on a high note ⚡⚡⚡. I’m really happy with how this drive turned out, it followed the plan exactly as described. After our first break, I announced over the radio that we’d aim to reach the chimney within 30 minutes, and if not, we’d return to the meeting point. We made it in 33 minutes with just one refusal, a great testament to how fantastically you all drove! Thanks to master Ogway @Frederic and the supports @Andrew John Melvill, @Frans M, and @Glenn W for sweep. The desert is never the same, and Al Qudra, with its forest-like trails, technical patches, and stunning ridges and slopes, once again gave us a drive to remember. Every visit feels like a new adventure, and next time, she will surely change its menu again 😊.
