  6. Hi there! There is usually carnity drives posted all around abu dhabi, dubai and sharjah on a regular basis. My maps of drives is lines of colour all around dubai and abu dhabi. Being posted all around AD except for one this week is likely a fluke Hope to see you on a drive in dubai sometime soon!
  7. Congrats to Desert Flyers. Awesome effort on hitting all those way points! Even better on making it back on time. @Davie Chase @Benjamin @Mark B @ChrisW @Gary F Second place Team Oryx killed it as well. amazing teamwork from @Zed @Jon L @Zak_ @Matt - monkeywrench @Ahmed Farouk Third place.... well you're all winners as well Great event @Carnity team... loved it! Looking forward to 2025!
  8. @Sam Don here is a nice discussion about pros cons of beadlocks
  9. lots of vehicles here come from agency with beadlock options, so no troubles with not being able to use them. Personally I like being able to air down very low. The extra traction is by far worth the hassle of retorqing to spec. Remember to retorque all 30 bolts per wheel every 500km!
  10. heres hoping they have switched from folders to moved to tags so that waypoints or routes can be 'included' in multiple places without creating duplicates >.<
  11. garmin tread sxs 'group ride' requires everyone to be on the same hardware but can see live updates of group members and 'track' to them as well as their stats.
  12. @Sam Don pro tip if buying methods: Lots of garages sell methods,.. and lots of garages are selling method replicas from china passed off as genuine..... last thing you want is a rim self destructing and breaking apart (speaking from experience). Google for the UAE /dubai official distributor and only buy from them, they also have the largest range of sizes, offsets, colours etc. you will be saving yourself lots of expense in the long run!
  13. there is a number of off-road shops that can fit a steel bar through the bolts that holds the wheel on the back... they just undo the bolts, put the bar on, and tighten it back up... sticks out just above the spare wheel cover. (see pic below) ... you can message me on instagram and I can recommend the shop where I got this done if you are interested in that style of mount.
  14. Less than a week out! Official countdown to get excited is on! Looking forward to see what kind of challenge team @Carnity has put together for us 😁😁
  15. Welcome! Hope to see you in a drive sometime soon!
  16. Excellent drive this morning. Lots of waypoints to hit, and lots of varied terrain to navigate, lake beds, mud, sabhka, tall dunes, METAL POLES. team dune navigators handled it all with ease and poise even after a shredded sidewall meaning we had to get out the toolkits and do a wheel swap. No more dramas from there. Think we are all ready for Jerome to guide us through DCT next weekend 🙏
  17. really good session. so much of gaia and route prep makes sense now! thanks for leading us around!
  18. you'll have no problem with Al Tayer, until you try to claim anything 😁
  19. run into a problem that needs a lift yet? on that beast i'd say prob not required unless you are looking at trying to fit bigger wheels / tyres under it....
