Hi guys, just a quick update. I decided to go for Jeep Wrangler 2009, as I managed to find a very clean and stock model. Had to stretch my budget a little, but I am happy with the decision. See you on the desert!

As you might know from my previous topic I am currently searching for a car. I just managed to find a JL model from 2019 used by the travel company. From the report provided by them the car has several issues: 

1- Replace wiper blade 2- Replace RHS and LHS VVL seal 3- Replace battery 4- Replace spark Plug 5- Replace brake fluid flush 6- Replace steering gear box 7- Tyre calibration 8- Hand break adjustment 7- ESP-PCM-HVAC-IPC Software updates 8- Replace coolant flush 9- Replace engine oil, rear oil seal, front oil seal 10- Replace sump releasing 11- Replace air make up hose 12- Replace time cover gasket 13- Replace PLIG seal 14- Replace cover sensor seal 15- Replace LHS and RHS valve gasket cover and nut bolt oil assembly

Can you roughly estimate the costs of the repairs and maybe recommend a garage which can take care of it for a reasonable price? 
I still haven't purchased the car, as I am trying to estimate the value.

Thanks for the reply. I'm shifting more and more towards Xterra. Any recommendations on where to find a good deal? I'm searching dubbizle and facebook market, but both are full of dealers. Maybe you know some places where I can find more private offers?

I have sold my previous Pathfinder and decided to find myself something more suitable for the sand. After reading lost of threads and articles I limited my choice to Xterra and Wrangler. The budget I set up for the car is 25k and I'm planning to use the car on the road as well.

What are your thoughts? Do you know any specific places I could find some good offers?

Hi, I have Nissan Pathfinder 2006. No experience so far, and yes - car has front and rear eyelets. From the equipment I am just missing the shovel

A quick question. Is it possible to reserve the afternoon drive instead of the morning one? My company just made some changes to my schedule and I'll be finishing my shift on 24th around 1-2am. So it would be more convinient for me to go for the afternoon ride. I just don't know how to switch it.
