  1. @Frederic @DP1011 @Abhilash Kottakkal @Sunil Mathew @FERNANDO SYRIO Thank you everyone for the clear explanations. My main concern is whether making any of these changes will void my warranty. I spoke to the service expert at Al-Futtaim, but their response wasn't clear. They didn't confirm whether I have the green light to go with this, nor did they mention if my warranty would be voided if any changes are made. Thanks, @Abhilash Kottakkal and @Sunil Mathew, for sharing the contact numbers. I'll be reaching out soon.
  2. I'm seeking expert advice on enhancing my off road driving experience. Currently, I own a 2023 Fortuner and have been participating in newbie drives with Carnity. While I find these experiences enjoyable, I personally believes there may be some adjustments necessary to enhance the convenience and elevate my performance for upcoming advanced drives. Currently I’m always worried on descending hills because of the ground clearance. Here's a list of basic alterations which comes on my mind, though I'm unsure of their importance: Skid Plate Lift kit for improved ground clearance Furthermore, I'm concerned about the impact these changes might have on my showroom warranty. I've only had the vehicle for four months. If I had discovered this off-road driving pleasure earlier, I would have chosen a more capable 4X4 vehicle with superior ground clearance from the outset.
  3. Thanks @Frederic. Truly, that was a wonderful drive. Every drive with @Carnity is a new learning experience and an opportunity to understand my vehicle more closely. Big high-five ✋ to @Hisham Masaad @Imteeaz @DP1011 @Anish S for your extended support and assistance .
  4. Thanks @Hisham Masaad Had a wonderful off road experience today. First time I'm seeing this pink rock. Despite living in Dubai for over 10 years, I had never come across such a place before. Now I feel a bit guilty that I didn't start this off-road journey earlier. Once again thanks to our marshal @Hisham Masaad and @Carnity to give this opportunity. I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to @Looper and @Benjamin for their invaluable support throughout the drive and for being our 360 camera . Thanks to all the visitors, and we look forward to meeting again soon...
  5. @Davie Chase- Noted. I will completed by newbie sessions fast and will join soon. See you soon. Thanks
  6. @Davie Chase - I'm currently at a newbie level. Would you mind joining me on this drive?
  7. @Davie Chase -I have exited from this drive. I misread this as a newbie earlier 🤪
  8. Thank you all @Gaurav @Pavel Pashkovskiy @Benjamin @Frederic @M.Seidam @Sunil Mathew @Stumpy Pajfor the valuable feedback based on your experience. For now, I'll stick with what I'm doing, which is driving in automatic mode. As I gain more control over the vehicle, I will gradually start trying out these manual shift. I hope by the time I might be an expert on off roads. Once again, thank you all for these valuable pieces of advice.
  9. With my Toyota Fortuner 2023 automatic, I'm wondering if I need to switch the gear to manual while going off-road in deserts. I've seen some videos suggesting that switching to manual mode when driving in sand can lead to better performance and help on avoiding transmission issues ( Heating Transmission ). Being a Newbie driver, do in need to focus on this or it's just for experts who rule the sand dune terrain Help be on this....
