  1. This is correct observation and this is so called turbo lag.. This graph is the smoking gun for why the dyno never lies! You can see the 2.0L is basically asleep until 3,000 RPM, while the 3.6L is already putting in work right from the jump. In the dunes, that delay is a death sentence; with the 3.6L, you press the pedal and climb, but with the turbo, you’re stuck waiting for a "power permit" while you're already moving. By the time the boost finally kicks in, you've either missed your window or you’ve overcooked the gas and started digging a hole to China. It’s exactly why naturally aspirated is king in racing—you need throttle control, not a waiting room for your horsepower. Just go with the 3.6L and leave the "lag and dig" lifestyle to someone else! :)))
  2. Look, I have no idea how the Ranger Raptor drives, but honestly, who cares about turbo lag and "sensible tech" when you can buy a literal tectonic event on wheels? One has a V6 that sounds like a very fast vacuum cleaner, and the other has a 6.4L HEMI that announces your arrival three zip codes away. Life is too short for independent front suspension and doors you can’t take off—just go with the Rubicon 392! 😆

  4. Thanks a lot, @Ale Vallecchi and the support team @Danie @Abdullah A., for this incredible Sunday. This was my 5th drive, and easily the best one yet. The pace was perfect, and the 100km endurance format really allowed me to stretch the legs of the 392 and practice throttle control over longer distance. I’ll definitely be looking for more "Challenge" drives from Ale in the future—it’s a no-brainer! One observation for my fellow drivers: I noticed some guys stayed in their cars during stuck recoveries today. Just a tip from a racing background: the desert is a team sport! If you see someone stuck, don't just watch from the AC—grab a shovel, get out, and help 😄 Even if you don't know the technical side yet, observing a recovery from the sand is the fastest way to learn how not to get stuck yourself. Or maybe I am doing wrong running with shovel to help 😆 I’m flying back to the "Snowland" tomorrow, so I’ll be out of the sand for a couple of weeks, but I’m already looking forward to my first Fewbie ☺️ drive when I return.   6. Awesome footage, that’s the style I wish to drive ASAP The main idea of my posts was to find the correct way to the thing, as to my opinion driver did not performed it correctly. I have a little bit of car sports related background on tarmac, snow, rain etc. Desert is new thing for me and I am really excited about every upcoming drive, even if they feel a little bit too simple at the beginning:) I met @Gaurav just a month ago during the Masterclass and he asked me: what is your goal? Well, my goal is very simple, I wish to achieve high level of skill in the sands now:) Thanks everyone

  8. Thanks for the input @Frederic! You just confirmed my feeling! let’s change the rules now - You have to climb this dune in the manner he did it, but do it safe, what would you do? I feel that car lacks initial momentum, he had to have more initial speed to do this safe way, plus aproach angle was too steep. I have prepared detailed drawing for evaluation 😅😅😅 let’s discuss this!

  10. Hi experts! @Gaurav@J-P L @Frederic @JeromeFJ @Mark B would love to hear your valuable opinion on this particular climb and its implementation. As i am building my way from newbie rank to marshal 😀 and expanding my knowledge base, I did find this particular video interesting to ask for opinions. My first impression was that this climb is unsafe is on the edge of rollover, the reason i think so is because the rear end of the car is constantly falling behind the nose and most part it is sideways action… The positive thing i see is that driver keeps pushing the gas and steers to the right. @J-P L I remember i got “don’t fight the gravity” warning from you in similar situation, of course on much more lower dune, on mu first drive. would love to hear from you guys!   14. Hi everyone, short recap of my first experience with you. Huge thanks for letting me to experience such an interesting hobby (sport), many thanks @Asif Hussain for leading us into the beautiful world of sand, dunes and a little bit of camel poop 😄 I had a really strong start at 04:30AM from RAK, navigation showing that i will be at 06:40 at the place, which was beautifully planned from my side, nevertheless adventure started while passing Dubai and realising, that there will be no fuel station within next 40-50KM 😆 and i had a range of 40 or smth km left (Rubicon loves fuel). Tanks god there were unbelievable low visibility due to Fog, which made driving even at 50 KHM a challenge, but same time it saved me fuel, what allowed to reach gas station, which was not even possible to see from the road. There met first guys going same direction so we came precisely at 07:00 AM The drive itself was interesting experience. Before the event, I have had only one masterclass with @Gaurav, which was smooth as silk, so this drive was first real world application of newly developing skillset, which is kind of similar which i do during the winter races in Europe, but opposite to what i do driving on the dry tarmac. I would love to get stuck at least once, to learn more, but Wrangler just did the job flawlessly. Got one refusal, which was due to too low climbing speed and rest of the ride was smooth. Thanks @J-P L for advice, i was there to learn. Thanks everyone and see you next time.   15. Hi @Frederic! hour ago completed Masterclass with Gaurav, was a lot of fun, thats it about my experience:))) Car: Wrangler 392, silver, 2024 I have watched the video, i have flag, radio, hooks on the car etc. ready to go and really hope i can join happy new year btw
