  1. as soon as you receive the car go to dealer and get it registered, get it fixed then registered and before registration get the insurance done too.
  2. Like IROC said, its behind glove box. You got to sit down under the passenger seat (front) and look up on glove box for hidden screw to remove the glove box and reach to pollen filter.
  3. Hi Vishal, sorry to hear your 10k loss in shootng arrow in dark. Check engine light is always a mysterious issue if person doesnt have appropriate VAG diagnostic tool. I can also suggest 5 more things to check or change, as per my knowledge but the best is find good garage who have OBD II compliant VAG tool and run on your car to find the exact fault code and then see which item is pointed by those fault code. More likely it seems Air flow sensor or some other electrical related issue that only fails 3 cylinders, quite weird.
  4. No brake fluid need not to be changed on brake pads change. Yes if its low please top up, that it.
  5. check the manual if not check the previous records of your services that you must had done earlier
  6. Just at the end of one of the radiator hose that comes from engine. Check closer to engine jacket in front from where thick black rubber hose comes to radiator. Its known as weather temperature sending sensor.
  7. Start with fuses, relay, electrical connection and then doubt sensors because of all parking sensor failing at once is weird and only raises my eyebrow to fuses.
  8. Looks like AC and heater switch in dash is malfunctioning, get it checked with electrician before going for AC technician. May be you just need new switch in dash.
  9. You should ask him how he knows? If battery is drained out and car isnt starting then how he figured out which part of car drained the battery. I don't think there is anything in instrument cluster of A3 can drain the battery. Best to start with fuses and relay's. Check all of them and found the culpri relay still sending current while car was off and change that relay.
  10. heya, i have a S5 which is a showoff car and a real head turner anyways my problem is that the coolent is leaking as i had found green spots below the car and my coolent is green in color. is there any way i can stop this by my self or do i hav to take it to the garage please advice
