The BMW X5 and the X6 has long been in a battle with each other. People get confused as to what to buy and what not to buy. Obviously both might have their good sides and the bad ones but can we reach some sort of conclusion between the sedan and coupe!!

PS. To me they are pretty much the same except for their seating.

i get my oil changed every 5000km. one of my friends used to do it to his bmw and he never seemed to complain about the car. Any darker color oil needs changing and this usually happens every 2-3 months or at 5k km.

Just take it to AGMC try bartering with them for a fair price to run a diagnostic and identify the source of the problem. Look for a good deal regarding the software too.

Hi guys, I am a Z4 owner and want to look into how to change the brake fliud since its due soon as I was told that it should be changed every 24 months as per the manual. I want to know the process regardless if i do it myself or have it done. Thanks.

Okay here is a simple step by step:

Get in your car, put your seat belt on and close the door as if you are ready to drive. Do not insert key.

With your free hand, press the odometer button and keep pressing it.

insert key and turn once - its called the accessory position of the key

Remember you have to keep pressing the button throughout, the service light will start to flash.

the word reset will appear, release button and press it again once and keep pressing it.

release button when you see green lights appear ... this means the system has been reset.

Resetting the service indicator light is not at all a problem two easy steps .. are you aware of the odometer button? i don't know why the dealership said that it has to be brought in again .. to be honest yes they could have told you over the phone. BMWs being a luxury car are always the "take-it-in" kind of cars no matter how small the issue is.

Although I don't have a mini but to be sure try spraying WD40 on the door gaps - this will lubricate the area and make door that the problem is not the doors being jammed ... rest you can also have your door latches checked, they might not be working properly.
