hi Looper, My car is a Baic BJ40C, black colour, mounted K03 285/70/17 - 4H - 4L - diff lock front and back Experience: - good level in mud / rocks - extremely limited experience in soft sand. - 2 times out in the desert (Al Qudra), and still adapting to my new car. Quite a change, in my country I used rather to drive turbo-diesels, or more powerfull fuel models. I Confirm having read all and having all equipment mentionned. Let me know if needed more info. -

This sounds indeed extremely similar to the previous issue which turned out to be the solenoid valves. Try the following 1. Park the car on a lonely piece of straight road. Engage Neutral. 2. Move your 4x4 lever to 4H and wait till the dash stops blinking. 3. Engage D and drive 100-200m in a straight line and see if the noise is still there. -

Hi! I think I'm experiencing the same issue, but unfortunately the video you posted with the sound is no longer available. I've also made a video of my own, and I'd like to understand whether it's the same issue. My sound follows the same pattern: it gets louder when decelerating and stops when I press the brake all the way down. In other posts it's described as a grinding noise, but mine sounds more like a whirring noise. I've also taken the car to several garages, they changed a lot of thing, but they couldn't solve it. In the first few months it happened very rarely, but now it happens almost every other day, so I'm a bit worried.. -
