tariqkhan
Brake shoe replacement is easy. But make sure that you wear gloves when changing the brake show. First, park your car on a ground level and release the emergency break. Clog the front wheel if you are removing the shoe from rear wheel or vice versa. Adjust the jack and pull the car up in order to remove the wheel. Release the lug nuts from the wheel in order to remove the wheel. When you remove the wheel, you will see either drum or disc shaped covering the brake shoe. Remove that as well. You need to remove the return spring using the brake tool. Pull out the hardware and the brake shoes holding the retainer pin. They will easily come out. Now install the new break shoes into the hardware and put it back on the tray. Tighten it properly in order to avoid any loose part coming out when driving. Put back the drum/disc shaped covering and install back the wheel.
