Speed Limits?!

Hey People I have a simple question. If the speed limit says 70 lets say, then is it that i have to drive to max. 70 only, or can I go bit up down? Sorry, I am just new to this city, so not really sure about the roads yet.

If the speed limit says 70 with the red circle, it mean go Cannot exceed that. But you can go till max. 85 to 90. If you exceed more than that, you will surely get over speed fine. Also try got to exceed speed limit in radar areas where the road is monitored by Radaar. you will definitely get a fine there.

You want to go the speed limit at all times.  It’s not just about getting tickets.  Going too fast can be dangerous.  It puts the other drivers on the road at risk.

I was a tourist in the Dubai area several times and what I noticed right away are the speed cameras! There are radars everywhere! So, I'd say if you see there's a speed limit, you should definitely make sure you respect it.

Why take the risk? These signs are there for a reason it is not like the authorities are placing them for fun:) Yes, there are radars, regular police checks and cameras too. Respect the signs especially if you are a foreign citizen.

A little bit off topic - people in Germany don't have to follow any speed limits when they are on a highway. Amazing right?
