Car News
Driving around the capital city, Abu Dhabi, you would find a number of vehicles covered in dust and abandoned by their owners. The authorities in Abu Dhabi have decided to take strict measures against it and have seized 242 vehicles from the Musaffah and surrounding areas. According to the Abu Dhabi Municipality, an inspection campaign is being conducted to improve the appearance of the capital city and as a result, these dusty old abandoned cars are being confiscated. The authorities are first leaving a warning sticker on the car and if the owner does not take any step, he/she will receive a fine of Dh 3,000. Moreover, more than 700 street vendors have been fined as well as a part of the campaign. Do you think this is a good initiative taken by the Abu Dhabi authorities or should they provide a better alternative for the situation? Do share with us if you have any suggestion about how this matter could be resolved.
