my car starts to shake

hi i have a Audi TT Quattro-2005

there is a very funny issue with my car that i have noticed a week back

after driving a while, my car starts to shake, vibrate, pulsate, while the ESP light flashes erratically.

Once the noises and shaking stop, the light is on steady, When I turn of the ignition, and restart, it has rest and the light is out. Soon as I drive a few minutes, it happens again. I seem to have experienced a loss in power as well any clues on this.

Looks like your ESP (Electronic Stability Program) is switching on and causing you loss of power. Usually it happens on sand, snow or slippery surface where car tend to loose friction and slip and ESP acutomatically switch on and takes control of your ride preventing any accident.

Check your fuses, relays and rear brake lamps are fine or not. If not fix them first (cheaper fix).

If all is fine, then its ESP sensors failure and it might cost your around 3500 aed from dealer depending on ur luck and relation with dealer.

rear brake lamps or any lamps when fused keep the circuit open and confuse the AUDI ESP system, its better you check all bulbs shud be working fine.
