Camshaft sensor position overadvanced and check powertrain

Hi everybody

I have Lumina s (V6) 2005. Check powertrain sign came on. The computer scan give the following code“camshaft position sensor overadvanced...etc". When the car is cold and I start it, there is noise coming from the engine side (something stalling like “crrr crack.."). After that the car work but one time did not and I have to crank it again without any noise or problem. When the car is warm

, there is no noise and the car starts normal.

Please advise what could be the problem.

If noise was negligible and no loss in power when car is warmed, i would advise ignore it. As when engine starts it takes few seconds to lube all parts inside the engine at optimum temp of engine oil which is normal.
