difficulty in changing the gear after coil change

after getting the ignition coil changed it has become very difficult to change gear.

Are these two things connected in any ways?

I dont think so, in any event show to same mechanic and try putting on him and see his reaction.

As a self education then walk in to second mechanic and explain all and see his judgment.
